Tastefully decorated interior with a pleasent low level lighting throughout. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It was great to see a beer on offer from Northern Monk brewery which is far superior to their other beers on offer. The starter of Mien Kum was a delicious journey through flavours and textures, crunchy nuts on top of a spinach leaf with spicy red chilli, zesty lime and a sweet coconut palm sugar condiment. My main of Volcano duck was rather one dimensional, mostly sweet flavours at the forefront coming from the sauce on top of the duck. The duck itself was average and far from being anywhere near as satisfying as good Chinese crispy duck. The crispy sea bass was decent and the sauce has a lot more aromatics going on, I would have liked the fish to have been a little more crispy . My girlfriend and I discovered this place during lockdown and had a fair few takeaways from them when the restaurant was closed for dine in. We absolutely loved it so it quickly became our go-to takeaway place. We said we'd have to go and dine in once they open again.

Since then, due to a health condition, I'm now on a very strict diet (no gluten, no lactose and no sugar!) I decided to give My Thai a call just to see if there was any chance there was anything on the menu I'd be able to have, and they were more than happy for me to choose any soup, salad and curry from the menu and make it from scratch excluding any of the things I can't have, without any fuss at all. Not only that, but without compromising on the quality of the food in any way. I still had a delicious meal and thoroughly enjoyed eating out, something I thought would be completely out of the question due to my restrictive diet.

My partner, father in law and I came in tonight for a celebratory meal. The staff were very warming and welcoming, as neither my partner or I had thai food previousley the waitress came and explained the dishes in more detail, I'm not a fan favourite of spicy food and was advised all the dishes could be adapted to suit as they are all cooked fresh. I had the prawn starter and the rainbow salad for main, it was amazing and very fast service, the prawns were divine and huge! We joke in our house that my partner has hollow legs, there was more than enough food in the plate to fill him. All the food we were served looked and tasted brilliant. The staff were very attentive, when our glasses were empty we was offered a re-fill straight away. 5* would definitely visit again, thank you all for the amazing meal...
