Disgustingly dirty shop. I walked in to see the chef picking at food from the cooker (which I presume was my food as I was collecting an order😭). As I sat waiting for my order to be finished, I was overwhelmed by the smell of old unchanged frying oil. It smelt so off putting and the whole shop was just greasy looking, including the windows. This place is in dire need of a deep clean! There were staffs open bottles of fizzy drink on the counter top along with cleaning products and boxes that said chicken on them. The food is all from big packets that they just pour into a cement mixer looking cooker and re fry in smelly old oil 🤢 I'm really not exaggerating here! Horrendous. Then my bubble tea and food arrives. I took it to my car and went to open the bubble tea. The cup was covered in smelly grease from the mans gloves and it stank. It was all over my hand when I picked it up so I went back in to ask if he had a wipe to clean the cup and my hand. He said he didn’t but proceeded to grab me a tissue with the his greasy latex gloves on. I had to use the bottle of cleaning product I could see messily left on the side, on some tissue to clean it. He asked if I wanted a new one making but I just wanted to get out of there by this point. Then I tried the bubble tea and it was VILE. I’ve had bubble tea from here before and it was fine! This was DISGUSTING tasting and had strange bits in the bottom. I don’t know how you mess up a bubble tea. He must’ve just been touching everything with the same oniony oil gloves 🤢 I’m not joking. The tapioca wasn’t even cooked properly and was chalky in my mouth. I spat it out and went back in to ask for a refund. The guy told me to come back tomorrow so he could give me cash but I asked repeatedly to have it refunded to my original payment method. He was eager to have me come back tomorrow to get cash. As for the food….you can guess where it ended up šŸ—‘ļø I don’t know what the hell is going on with this place but the owner seriously needs to pull their finger out and make sure their business is running properly. There is no excuse for poor hygiene. This place is absolutely disgusting and I will never ever come here again.

Genuinely gutted to be writing this as this used to be one of mine and my girlfriend’s favourite places - we found it when we first got together and loved it. From the food and bubble tea to the actual packaging, the music, the owners, everything was great, and it always looked clean. There was a tall lad (maybe Japanese or Chinese?) behind the counter who clearly knew what he was doing. it was just a great place. Fast forward to now and honestly, it’s barely recognisable. We went about a month ago and felt a bit dodgy after it, but thought maybe it was a one-off. Went back today and it was actually grim. No music playing, windows all smeared, floor was sticky, and behind the counter there was half a pizza literally trodden into the ground. It just looked filthy. We ordered two brown sugar milk teas - they were warm, looked like dishwater, had no syrup or ice, barely any tapioca, came in transparent cups with nothing on them (which is fine but again not as it once were) and were only half full with some dodgy black bits floating around at the bottom. We stepped outside, looked at them, and straight away turned back to ask for a refund. The guy working couldn’t really communicate much and looked completely out of his depth. He was on his own, bless him, but still - he took two phone calls while we were trying to explain why we wanted our money back! Just felt insulting and added to how ridiculous the whole thing felt. Couldn’t even get a refund as he said it will take 2-3 days so overall just a terrible experience. Honestly, I’ve never asked for a refund in my life before this and it’s gutting that moon tea would be the first as it was our favourite place. Proper let down. EDIT: we have now received the refund. I sincerely wish this place luck and hope it can get back to its original glory.

Hands down one of my favorite places for Chinese food in Bradford. Had driven past several times and finally decided to visit. Wow. I wish I’d visited sooner. The food was cooked fresh and you could tell that it had been made with care. Despite the menu appearing small, there was a lot of choice one there. We went for the spring rolls and the deep fried chicken dumplings for starters. The dumplings were packed with flavour and they came with a homemade chilli sauce, which was no word of a lie, the best sweet chilli sauce that I have ever tasted. It was packed with garlic and chilli and has just the right amount of sweetness Our mains were brought soon after and again were delicious, big chunks of chicken with the noodles in there along with the perfect amount of Szechuan sauce. The portions were very generous and we ended up taking some home along with some custard buns. There was a wide range of bubble teas which again were made fresh in store. All in all a very happy customer, we felt look after by the staff who kept making sure that we were happy with the meal. A definite hidden gem of a place and if you haven’t been already, what are you waiting for ?

A few months ago we ordered and the food was lovely, we had sushi, a noodle box and fries. All really tasty and was worth the money spent. Although I have to say, portions used to be better - now they are pitiful. We recently got the popping chicken, the chicken was fine, very salty but the portions were disgusting. I am paying 10 pounds for a box full of onion?! The chicken is so tiny, around 8 little coin sized pieces and some of the 'chicken' was just fried batter! The box is just packed with onion (not even nicely cooked) Honestly that's not cool, I'd get more value for the money I spent as well as better serving sizes if I got a meal at kfc! The food is good most of the time but it seems to be going downhill. I'd suggest just getting drinks since they never seem to fail on those. But otherwise, rethink if you wanna have a box of onions for dinner.

Edited: Just ordered again knowing the sushi was at least okay. Nevermind, spare yourself the money please. Just ordered sushi, it was 13 pounds for an uncut, smashed log of sushi. Are you serious? How can you make us pay this when it’s such bad quality. Plus we didn’t get any sauces, though they were requested and the sushi wasn’t even put together. Looks homemade even worse, made by a toddler. Not...
