We have recently arrived from New Zealand for a family visit and decided to order in a curry as we had heard the food from here was good. We ordered food for four people which came to around £75 then waited ……and waited and waited. After an hour and five minutes my daughter rang up to enquire the whereabouts of the food only to be given the regularly used delaying tactic of “sorry it’s on its way” another 20 minutes passed before the delivery turned up, just so you know the shop is literally 2 minutes away in a car. We started to dish out the food and it soon became clear that it had been stood (or travelling around the area) for quite some time as it was all cold. Not just a bit cold but really cold. The food itself was inedible, the shami kebabs looked awful like they were under cooked or raw, those were binned straight away. Why did you eat any of it you might ask? Well we were starving by this time as it had taken so long to arrive and it was too late to order anything else. My daughter rang up to complain, £75 is not an insignificant amount to waste on inedible food, the first time they hung up on her, on her second attempt they used the excuse that “they were busy and had a new delivery driver” neither of which was our problem or should have had any impact on the quality of the food. Apart from that nothing, no apology no offer of any full or partial reimbursement, nothing! This long review is to genuinely warn people from ordering take aways from this establishment. The food was awful and the customer service was non existent. I would have given no stars...

What a disappointment. Booked a table for 7pm, a birthday meal for a couple of work colleagues. Arrived on time and were shown to our table only to be left waiting for 30 minutes. Within that 30 minutes other customers arrived, were seated and provided with a drinks menu and food menu. Drinks were served to these customers in full view of ourselves. Our group on the other hand weren't offered a drinks menu and although we asked twice for our food orders to be taken were ignored both times. This was downright rude and unprofessional. Obviously, we understand that the restaurant was busy but considering that customers arrived after us were attended to before us it really was unacceptable. Maybe our treatment was as a result of us 'not fitting in' with the rest of the clientele? Because other than that and that we were a group of 4 women, there was no difference between ourselves and the other paying customers. We only booked this restaurant on the basis of it's reputation, well that's clearly a joke. Hospitality should be shown to ALL customers. Regardless. We all pay for the food AND service. The total disregard shown to us was disgusting. 30 minutes are long enough to wait to be served especially when customers have come from out of town. Needless to say, we left. Totally...

I've been a customer here for 18 years and used to eat in at the restaurant on a regular basis the food and staff were always great and always got looked after especially by Raf who was one of the managers at the time. However over the years I don't get out as much so have relied on getting takeaways from here instead, always been great but over the last year or so the waiting time has been getting longer and longer for deliveries. After waiting 2hrs 15 minutes recently when it was supposed to be there within the hour I have decided enough is enough and will take my custom elsewhere. The food arrived lukewarm and one of the curries was very bland as though the chef had forgot to add the spices to the base sauce. I was fobbed off about the delivery arriving when I called the restaurant on more than one occasion and was offered no reduction in price or even a free starter as a good will gesture for the long wait, it's like they no longer care about the custom. Disappointed to say the least. Update : After sending a polite email on the contact us form on their website regarding the service I had no response back which I think isn't very good at at all. Sorry Kiplings but you have...

Won’t come here again £40 on the food and ruined due to raw “king”prawns in prawn puri We called them and told them about the raw prawns and responded with “the chef said that’s how it comes”….. I’m sorry but if the chef says that something like prawns are meant to be raw (not cooked what so ever) then he shouldn’t be a chef. A person who isn’t a chef can easily search that having raw prawns can cause a bunch of problems to yourself. They said that they are sending a new one but 45min later and the remaining food has gone cold and still no replacement. We called and the manager answered, we said that we still don’t have it and the food has gone stone cold but tried making excuses and kept saying that it’s “nearly there” even after telling him the food has cold and ruined and then turned rude when we told him the problem but it was like talking to a stone wall as he was constantly ignoring what we are saying. We going back with it tomorrow as no one showed up to show them the plate of food poisoning . So long story short Terrible Chef Horrible Manager And the don’t ever get the Prawn puri unless you want food poisoning. And that’s if you can call them prawns

Called for a curry after searching on TripAdvisor and google for best places for a curry, The restaurant is very nice looking, has a bar which serves alcohol and soft drinks, The manager/owner is very easy to talk too and was very welcoming when we arrived I would say if your looking for a hidden gem in bradford then you need to give this place a try, we had murgh pakoras, tandoori murgh starters and they was freshly cooked and tasted delicious for our main we tried lucys special (WOW) what an absolute beautiful curry this was, chips was nice and the aloo naan was fresh too Overall 10/10 for the full meal and will definitely be coming back very soon Decently priced and as we was leaving we noticed they had an early bird menu if your eating on a budget

Tuesday 5th November We arrived to a very busy restaurant and was asked to wait upstairs in the bar where our ordered would be taken . We had a round of drinks in the bar (convenient) We had our order taken and was recommended some mains * Shashleek keema karahi * chicken pasanda * garlic corriander naan (thin crispy ) Was asked how we’d like the dishes done and if we’d have and dislikes or allergies which Was impressive Food arrived after a short wait And wow. It was well worth travelling for I would recommend booking before hand as it’s a busy restaurant
