Last week I spent nearly £100 at this Starbucks. This morning I order and after accepting my order and assigning a driver they cancelled it with no explanation at all!! I thought it was just an error and so I put the order through again something anyone would do! The same thing happens again except I get a phone call from the police! Starbucks lied and said that I kept cancelling my order WHICH YOU CAN'T DO FROM JUST EAT and they said I was harassing them a total fabrication! They cancelled the order and I have the automated txt to prove it! Starbucks criminalized my phone number and set the police on me just for reordering because they gave no explanation as to why the order was cancelled YOU KNOW BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I'm fuming about this and I will be formally complaining about it! I am also going to contact the police and complain that the starbucks worker wasted police time by accusing a high spending customer falsely! I wonder if my name had anything to do with it! I have received no apologies at all and have been made to feel like a criminal just for ordering coffee!! This is appalling behaviour and I suspect someone there doesn't like my name because I have absolutely nothing else to go by! Beware If you have a certain type of name because you may just find your order cancelled and the police at your door!! Very very shameful...
Read moreAppalling service. Spent £6 on a drink and waited forever for it, for it to taste horrible. Took it back and asked if it was supposed to taste that way to be told yes that drink isn’t very nice (so why is it being sold). Instead of offering me a different drink I had to pay for a replacement only for it to get left on the side for 10 minutes until they realised they hadn’t handed it out. Staff were rude, lazy and constantly on their phone whilst making drinks, just because it is quiet doesn’t mean you should work slowly. Not the service you expect when you are spending nearly £20 a couple to go for (basic) coffee. I would have expected a refund for one of the drinks at least but no one seemed concerned that their customers were not happy. Will never be going back. Starbucks you need to further train your staff in customer service. If you are charging premium prices I expect a premium service and I can guarantee no one will be reaching out to me regarding this review because clearly your customer service team...
Read moreFirst time visiting this branch, certainly won’t be returning. The only upside to this location is the availability of fast EV chargers in the car park nearby. The service was impolite, dismissive and borderline rude; it is as if we were not to be there. We went via the Drive Thru, abrupt taking the order, and when we pulled by the window, two members of staff where as abrupt as each other; no acknowledgement of our existence, were swearing, sighing, acting unprofessionally and it was clear to see neither of them wanted to be there.
Usually, the team members of a typical Starbucks are well trained and incredibly polite/professional.
Our visit took place 28 Aug at around 7pm; I understand that may be late, but it is still unacceptable service.
