Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Braintree

Really poor service and there was no trac and trace questions asked, drinks weren't the best, staff not wearing face masks, no name badges, Manager is rude and didn't care about customers who complain or there staff. Food was over cooked and given to customers, this wasn't asked for. No social distancing asked to customers or staff. Tables weren't cleaned. And staff gave really bad looks once we left. I will NOT recommend or ever go back, extremely bad and poor service...

The restaurant was a bit understaffed at the time I went in. I was served by a lovely lady called Lily. She has an infectious smile. She took my order and made my drink too. Its the first time I've gone to Costa and had a drink made at the perfect temperature. Amazing feat! Well done Lily! Just make sure you specify what milk you want in your order. Or you’ll probably get skimmed milk. I ordered a hot chocolate which I assumed would be made with whole or semi-skim milk as I didn’t ask for it skinny (and had asked for cream and marshmallows with it).
