This is a very popular place locally so generally this means you will east freshly cooked fish. The quality of Fish is usually good but I was disappointing with my plaice which was a small fish bulked up with a lot of batter - and greasy batter at that. The chips are proper chip shop chips and served in generous portions. They are always wrapped separately to avoid them going soggy next to the fish. £9.50 to £10.50 is a little steep for 1 fish and chips - it's cheaper in the nearby Weatherperson! Tomy Tuckers do accept on line orders but they always say the food will be ready on 10 minutes regardless of how busy they are or how long it really takes. Absolutely disgusted with this place this evening! I wish I could post this with a zero star rating! Popped in to get some dinner on the way home. Asked the guy to check the ingredients of the sausages as my daughter has some food allergies. He just said it had the allergens in, didn't look. Asked him again to check the packet and was told that they didn't want to serve people with allergies! He continued to wrap up the other food I had ordered. Needless to say I told him to keep it! I'll take my money elsewhere thanks. It is actually law now that all food places have to display allergen lists.
