McDonald's — Restaurant in Breckland District

Absolutely ambysmal service on multiple occasions. Visited tonight and staff once again were disinterested and unable to assemble orders in a timely and efficient manner. We placed our order via the touch screen and proceeded to wait nearly half an hour whilst a member of the so-called ‘customer care’ team stood aimlously looking at the order screen allowing our food to go cold. When we did finally receive our food, the fries were stone cold and barely filled at all (seeming as though the crew member serving us did not know how to adequately fill a medium fry box), there was barely any chicken in my partner’s wrap, and we received a second iced drink that we neither wanted or in fact ordered. Upon receiving the order I promptly returned to the counter to be told that we would be given fresh food in due course by the duty manager. However despite this statement and her polite apology, I still had to follow this up. If you’re passing Thetford and fancy a McDonald’s, i recommend you bypass this one completely and visit the Thickthorn, Dereham or Swaffham restaurants instead. This is my home McDonald's just 3 minutes away and probably my favorite of all the ones I've visited. Right next to the BP station. I fill up my car and go for an iced coffee and a tasty morning sandwich with egg, bacon and burger patty. Sometimes I go for lunch, sometimes with my kids and wife. Nice, clean, tasty for every occasion I think. I gave it 4 stars for the restrictive parking. for which I paid about £80, which I arrived at on Sunday around 9 pm where there were a lot of parking spaces, and at that time I was at McDonald's for dinner and I didn't look at the time because it was late Sunday and I got a ticket because it was 10 or 15 minutes overdue. And the second thing is the lack of tissues added to the order and this happens quite often. Especially at the drive-through where you get your order in a bag, go, eat and at the end there's nothing to wipe your mouth or hands with, a small detail but so important. Apart from that I recommend it. A good place for a quick lunch. Prices are affordable, Anyone who has a few pounds and someone who has a lot of money can come here and eat something tasty and quick. Thise is for what i like McDonald's is that it is the same for everyone. Hope I help...

Thought it would be nice to order my partner a big McDonald’s breakfast for his birthday as he’s been having a really rough time lately and we’re both super unwell. Half the order was missing, the rest was wrong, can’t get a refund for delivery as McDonald’s are partnered with Uber Eats. Ruined the morning really and I’ve now deleted both my Mcdonalds and Uber Eats accounts. Can’t be bothered with the lack of resolve on orders that are wrong. McDonald’s stated that they couldn’t do anything unless we wanted to go via head office. Absolute joke and not worth the money you chance losing on delivery fees etc. This also means that if you get your food for a group and anything is missing, you won’t get a replacement for any of the missing items unless you want to re order and pay for another delivery, meaning half the group might go hungry unless you want to waste more money on delivery and receive another order that might also be wrong. This has also happened to us on a few occasions in the past but this time was ridiculous, the order was no where near correct. It’s like we got someone else’s order with our receipt on it. Oh, and we have to wait up to 15 days for a refund...
