Greggs — Restaurant in Breckland District

Entered Greggs at retail park Thetford. A number of people were at tables eating. Placed our order and paid. When food arrived we were told we would have to sit outside as they close at 4pm even though most tables were empty. My good lady pointed out that its only 2.20pm but no, we were told we have to sit outside though it was very windy and spitting rain. The tables inside were not clean so it would have made no difference if we had used them. Half the seating area was barriered off so not many tables that would require cleaning and i can't believe 1 hour 40 minutes was required to clean them. There was no sign on the door stating we would have to sit outside and we were not told that when we placed our order only when our food arrived. I use Greggs all over the country with satisfaction but I shall not be using...

This was my first visit to this Gregg's outlet in Thetford. It is easily found, it is located on the small business park, Caxton Way off London road . There is generous parking with dedicated disabled bays. All road and path surfaces are good making wheelchair access good. The shop itself has a small eating area to the front of the counter and another area tucked away to the side. It is well laid out with good access for wheelchair users. There is also a well kept customer toilet with disabled access. The food on offer was of the usual standard one would expect from a Gregg's outlet. Wasn't asked in advance if we wished to have one of our rolls heated asked for payment when we asked to have one heated was informed that we would have to be refunded for the whole order as it cost extra to have a roll heated even though it was an option. Prehaps should be asked before asking for payment or a separate button till to add on after? It would save a lot of messing about and confusion. Staff seemed friendly wasn't a huge cake selection to choose from compared to other greggs I have been in. Would rush back OK if just...
