KFC Thetford- London Road — Restaurant in Breckland District

Absolutely appalling customer service from thetford kfc tonight. Staff shouting and swearing at each other outside , one young girl was emptying the bins when we arrived and we followed her in, Only for her to jump straight behind the counter and start handling customers food orders etc. two members of staff smoking outside , who we then watched come in and do the same thing, no hand washing nothing. Food all over the floor , tables were rank. Bins full outside ( apart from the 1 that just got emptied). And to top it off they were having an audit carried out on them. Manager was running about shouting ….. he’s here he’s here , then it went crazy in there. Customers who’s order was wrong etc were told to come back in an hour or so when he’s gone and they would be given there entire order for free if they just left and didn’t cause a scene whilst he was there. Whilst waiting to collect our order 39mins , we watched the same lady come back in twice who’s order was wrong, in the end she demanded a refund. Once I finally got my order I asked the girl who gave it to us if the zinger burger definitely didn’t have any mayo in it as my wife has an intolerance to it , she replied with “what” I repeated myself , she said “what” , I said “ I think you mean pardon , her reply was “whatever”. We sat in the car to eat , I see the manager come out and argue with a male employee, I asked him if this was his idea of good representation of the business to which he replied “ there has been so many issues tonight and we have just closed down operations” no apologies for the way his staff were conducting themselves, nothing. Really …. is this what customer service is these days. I will never eat here again and don’t recommend any one else does either. A full email of accounts will be sent to the head office tomorrow morning. As will the two cars that sat beside us will be doing. Avoid...

Having been in January and was amazed how good it was the food service and everything I had to visit again on my way to Heathrow to drop off my wife. It was just as good as before service outstanding and food excellent in fact it was so good on the way back home we stopped again. It’s a shame not all KFC stores are as good I travel a lot and I do believe it’s the best I’ve ever had in this country and in any country I’ve been to. As an add on to my review I visited again this weekend 5 weeks after my last visit when I dropped off my wife at Heathrow this time I stopped again on my way to collect my wife. On entering the KFC we saw how clean it was the staff gave a warm hello and took our order service was as good as before Louis was a member of staff we remember from before noted he is hard working and a pleasure to see. Even more impressed was he remembered us from before I told home I did a review from our last visit and straight away he even know the review and my name. Totally impressive that he knew and a real credit to the store. Not only does he take the reviews given seriously but to remember the details given in them. Well done the whole team there. And the food and coffee was just as good as before. My wife has been away for 5 weeks trading in Asia’s and she visited 2 KFC there and she told me on her return the Thetford one is really the best she has...

Terrible. We join the frenzy and we're excited by the new KFC opening. KFC is not necessarily the best restaurant to go to by any means but this particular restaurant is just awful. We have ordered about 7 times since launch - every single time, there is an it missing and unfortunately we have to rely on Uber eats so unable to check myself in store.

Today though!!!!! Overcooked chicken way too dark on the outside and way too dry on the inside. We fed it to the dog in the end. The beans were burnt, I mean seriously, again see pictures. Burnt sauce on underside and around the sides of the container and inside cracked, popped shells. Disgusting. The only thing decent was the popcorn chicken for my children.

Onto the chips - technically they were fine. The issue with this was that four of those miniature paper bags of chips had been emptied into the larger brown KFC bag. Ordinarily I could live with this or put it down to the way the ubereats driver was driving but everything was secure such was the amount of food we ordered it locked everything in place. These bags of chips were upside down and empty. And wholly in the brown kfc bag only.
