We were toying between a 3* and 4* review, but we decided on the more generous of the two. Upon check-in (at 22:15) we were presented with a lady at the desk who had what I can only describe as a horrendous attitude. She started off by insisting we book for breakfast, of which we could only choose from 7:00am or 10:30am? I took the latter and asked why we couldn’t just go when we wanted as we’ve never had to book in a Premier Inn before. Her response was ‘you just do if you want to get in’. I asked at one stage if we could possibly get some water from the bar to take to the room, and she simply responded ‘it’s closed’ with no suggestion of an alternative. She then gestured to a vending machine which charged £2.70 for one bottle! I asked again for a glass, and she huffed and got up and went through to the ‘closed’ bar to get a glass of water. She then came back with a WARM glass of water, which I stated was not cold. She said ‘well yeah I just took it out of the dishwasher’. She then sat there staring at me without further conversation, until I had to prompt her to give me my keycard. She slid it across the desk without speaking, so I had to ask her where we are staying, where to go etc…? She was so rude and unhelpful! The room itself was pleasant as expected from a Premier Inn. The shower was lovely and everything was generally quite clean too. The breakfast in the morning was good, and we were happy. Overall, due to the convenience of the location and good experience (excluding the night shift reception lady) we would stay here again.

I have the pleasure of staying at Premier Inn, and it is nothing short of exceptional. The room exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout, complete with a large flat-screen TV, a convenient coffee machine, and a luxuriously comfortable bed that made every night's sleep a dream. One of the highlights of my stay was the delightful breakfast spread offered each morning. The variety was impressive, catering to all tastes with a wide range of options, making it a true all-you-can-eat experience. From hearty classics to healthier choices, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Moreover, the restaurant facilities at Premier Inn are second to none. Whether indulging in a leisurely dinner or grabbing a quick bite, the quality of the cuisine and the impeccable service added to the overall appeal of the hotel. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Premier Inn to anyone seeking a top-notch accommodation experience. With its fantastic rooms, delightful breakfast offerings, and amazing restaurant facilities, it's truly a place where comfort and satisfaction meet seamlessly. Special thanks to Lucy M Who's service skills were impeccable

A disappointing stay. Check in was chaotic and having identified the needs of our group, many were placed in upstairs accommodation. Booking was made well in advance. Meal deal vouchers were not ready on arrival. The restaurant had run out of many food choices. No Fish and chips, limited pies other choices had to be used. No tartare sauce available(?) as examples. Meal was very average Service, although pleasant, was very slow even though the restaurant was not that busy. Reception staff talking about holidays with other staff members before attending to customers demonstrated a general sense of focus. Rooms were clean and presentable. There is no AC at this PI location in rooms Quiet location Male toilets out of order in main bar area Pigeons nesting in front roof and grass growing from gutters Many areas for improvement.

Upon arrival our room was 26.5 degrees celsius, despite having two old noisy fans already running when we entered. By the time we unpacked it was 27 and unbearable.||Our two boys, said that they felt they could not sleep in a room this hot or noisy. Andrew, my husband went to reception where he was told, that nothing could be done, all the rooms were like this. ||At 11.45pm, our eldest who suffers with eczema and asthma woke in tears due to being too hot. He needed his inhaler and I decided to take him downstairs where we sat in the lobby to cool down. This was really distressing and upsetting. There was a different receptionist at this point, who explained the same again, nothing could be done.||When we returned to the room, we wandered down the Premier Plus corridor, it felt remarkably cooler.||I decided to take the large duvets out of the sheets and this helped. We used cold flannels and all 4 of us laid naked (not ideal), none of really slept.||In the morning we spoke with the receptionist about our bad night, she again said nothing more could be done. I questioned why the Premier Plus area seemed cooler and despite her just saying there was no air con in the building, she then went on to say Premier Plus rooms had air con. I asked why we could not have been moved, and she said they weren't for families.||We have family in Norfolk and stay regularly with Premier Inn, normally the Norwich West, Showground site and have never experienced anything like this before.||We called Premiers guest relations this morning only to be told this was not covered by the 'Good night guarantee'. This is because the room does not include air conditioning, so the temp of the room is not covered in the guarantee. When we booked we had no choice but to book this room as it was the only room offered to families. This is...

I stayed here for 4 nights and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. I had a car so it wasn’t too hard for me to get around, but it’s a bit of a distance from shops if you need anything.

My room was ok, with access to a hair dryer and an iron on request, but the heating stayed on for all of five minutes before it switched off again. Luckily I had my hot water bottle and thermal socks so it wasn’t a massive issue.

There was a good range of cooked breakfasts, but for the self serve, I had to hunt for clean plates and I’m not referring to water stained plates, but dried egg and toast stained ones.

The over priced evening meals was a real let down. I had the macaroni cheese and the smallest bowl of side salad, which had the inedible lettuce head stuffed at the bottom of the minute bowl and the garlic bread was only toasted on one side. I got back late the the following day and decided I’d caught the chef on a bad day previously, so as there was no fish dishes available again, I had the veggie sausages and Yorkshire pudding. It was brought to me uncovered, even though I’d explained I would be eating in my room, I had to ask for a tray and condiments and the meal was missing the onions. As tiredness overtook the ability to make a fuss (plus I always worry about what could be done to food returned to the kitchen), I went back to my room and was so disappointed with the rock hard Yorkshire pudding, sausages that had been cooked on one side and the gelatinous excuse for gravy. Whilst I didn’t expect Michelin star meals, for the price, I did expect decently cooked and edible food.

So I had a basic, but functional room that lacked heating, but if I was forced to go back there, I’d avoid the...

I stayed at the Thetford Premier Inn for a number of weeks whilst working in the area, and I genuinely couldn’t fault a single aspect of my time here. From the moment I checked in to the day I left, the experience was consistently excellent.||The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and extremely comfortable. Everything I needed was provided, a proper desk space for evening admin, plenty of power points, a good strong shower, and a bed that genuinely made a difference to my rest after long, physical days. It’s clear the housekeeping team take great pride in their work, the rooms were cleaned to a high standard and always felt welcoming.||But what really set this stay apart was the staff. Every single member of the team, from reception to housekeeping and everyone behind the scenes, was absolutely brilliant. Warm, friendly, and always professional, they created an atmosphere that genuinely felt like a home away from home. No request was ever too much trouble. Whether it was arranging early check-ins, offering local advice, or just a warm “good morning” every day, their customer service was exceptional. You can tell they care about people, not just bookings.||It’s rare to find such consistently high standards in both accommodation and service, especially at such an affordable rate. For anyone staying in the area, whether for work or leisure, I would highly recommend Thetford Premier Inn without hesitation. They made what could have been a tiring and routine work trip into something comfortable, easy, and even enjoyable.||A big thank you to the whole team, your effort does not go unnoticed. I’ll absolutely be booking here again if I’m ever...
