The Taste of Istanbul — Restaurant in Breckland District

I recently dined at Taste of Istanbul, and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The food was an explosion of flavours, blending traditional Turkish cuisine with modern twists that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Every dish was prepared with the utmost care and authenticity, offering a genuine taste of Istanbul right here in Dereham.

The service was equally outstanding. The staff was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also incredibly attentive and friendly. They made us feel right at home, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a smile. Their recommendations were spot-on and enhanced an already fantastic dining experience.

The ambiance of the restaurant perfectly complemented the exceptional food and service. It was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated with elements that transported us to the streets of Istanbul. A perfect setting for a memorable meal.

If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience, Taste of Istanbul is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalising menu. Five stars...

OMG! What a great night! This has been the best meal I’ve ever had in Dereham! We started with a cold meze & a hot meze, which are the most amazing platters of couscous, calamari, bread, meats & sauces, absolutely amazing! For mains we had chicken & lamb shish which came with rices & salad & bread! So stuffed! But so happy!! Would recommend to all! Will be coming back again very soon! What a great meal, restaurant, and the staff were amazing! Very friendly & very knowledgeable! Love this place! 😊. Had a night out with friends last Saturday, booked table for 8pm, arrived just before, wasn’t too busy, got shown to our table & subsequently waited for 20mins for service before we gave up & headed somewhere else! Bit of a disappointment after the fantastic service we have received on many occasions here! Will try again in near future, if all up to standard will delete...

We called here on the off chance when walking past and booked a table for later in the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The ambiance was really nice with gentle Turkish music in the background. Spotlessly clean with a view straight into the cooking area. The food was very tasty with very good portions, wish we hadn't had a starter! We had a chicken and a lamb shish, both were perfectly cooked with salad, pita/Turkish bread, we opted for the chilli sauce and a mayonnaise sauce, the chilli was spot on for me... quite spicy! Toilet was very clean by the way... clean toilets, clean kitchen I always say. They do take away, so may give that a go as well in the future. Will definitely recommend if you fancy a change from the usual Italian, Chinese or Indian.......
