A location we chose purely random This was our first time (August). We stopped for an afternoon nibble. We were greeted, and the small line inside moved quickly. We ordered a flat white, mocha, panini, almond croissant, and baguette sandwich. Positives: Atmosphere. Inside was cozy, and outside had a few tables (we sat outside). Located at an intersection in town, so there was bustling energy and good people watching. Coffee & Pastry. Roast was exceptional. Both our drinks were smooth and rich. Very tasty indeed. Drawbacks: Food. It wasn't bad, just simply "ok." Honestly, it's not much better than a grocer meal deal. So sufficient if you're hungry. But it to be expected. Overall I'd say a good stop for coffee and pastry. Not a bad way to kill a half hour if waiting on something.

I was pleased that they served matcha after asking but it was not proper matcha. It was a cheap chai latte matcha. It doesn’t taste like matcha. 1kg of chai matcha is about £16 but high grade 1kg would be over £100. I’m happy to pay £6 ish for good quality. I asked for an iced matcha but it was served warm. If you like proper high quality matcha do not order from here. Overall it’s a fresh bakery. But massively disappointed with my drink.

Stopped in probably a little bit close to the end of the day so the selection was less than I hoped. Selling out of things is a good sign of quality though. Had a lovely bit of Victoria sponge and I fancied a milkshake. They had yazoo available. Nice place to watch the world go by, and they had loads of local specialisties freshly baked. Something the chain coffee shops opposite cannot offer!

Writing this review from the Cafe itself. Having just parked in Dereham for a quick wander I have been pleasantly surprised by this wonderful little pit stop. I ordered a meal deal, coffee panini and a fruit scone for £6.50 which is most reasonable. The panini was well stuffed complete with salad and the scone served with Rodda’s cream and Wilkin’s jam. All of which was delicious. The coffee was great and flavoursome from very fresh beans, much nicer than a Costa or any other high street marque. Brilliant service, a place I would...

Sat outside and enjoyed a very nice bacon and sausage bap. Reasonably priced and good quality ingredients (I have had enough bacon rolls to know when one is a good quality :) ) All staff wearing masks and customers too (something good to see in this pandemic, as is good outside seating) The window was full of reasonably priced cakes that looked like they were made for the gods, but I was able to resist (it was the start of our day) but you can bet I will be back to sample a couple next time I am passing...
