Miss Millie’s – Chicken and Shakes — Restaurant in Bristol

Absolutely shocking service. The only reason I've given a 1 star rating is because there isn't a section to give a negative star rating.

Upon arriving there was a longer queue than usual which was due to three things, 1) there was only 1 person serving, 2) the customer being served was complaining about the food he had been served being incorrect, 3) the employee serving was more interested in making small talk with his friend in the queue than dealing with the customer with the incorrect food.

Once the first customer was finally sorted out all be it very unprofessionally the employee serving now served the next person in the queue, his friend but talking about old times was top on his list of priorities. After a few minutes of catching up the employee finally took his friends order but once again made several mistakes only this time instead of it being with the food it was ringing it in the till.

Finally another member of staff emerged from the back and it was now my turn to place my order. I placed my order with this employee while the first employee served the customer behind me. Unfortunately the customer behind me was also there to complain as he had ordered his food online and despite payment being taken the order had not been delivered which was more interesting to the employee serving me than taking my order. At this point the employees swoped customers so the original employee was now preparing my food. Initially my food was started to be prepared incorrectly which I had to point out to the original employee who was unaware of this as the order was placed with the second employee.

After a timely wait my food was finally handed to me abruptly while reading the now correct order back to me. However, once home and unpacking the order I was to find that several items were missing from the order that I had paid for and despite it being read back to me before I left the shop.

It amazes me how such a catalogue of errors can occur for so many customer's let alone in such a short space of time. As a result of this certainly this branch has lost a long term customer and I would suspect at least the other customers also receiving such awful...

Where do i start. CHIPS, a combination of overcooked gum shredding bits right down to soggy undercooked mush. MEGABITE BURGER, pre cooked chicken that had obviously been kept in a warmer display cabinet of sorts, Coating shattered when bitten into and chicken extremely dry, non existent salad and all in a bun which would just about feed an anorexia plagued goldfish.² CHICKEN x3, again teeth shattering coating and pre cooked. Overall beyond disappointing. This franchise should be dropped by Miss Millies. UPDATE......it's been a while since i last used this place so thought i might give it another try (I mean, could it still really be as bad as before)?. Well YES it could, In fact it was unbelievably worse. Horrible stinking undercooked or overcooked food served by horribly rude staff. I know this place has been reported to the FSA on more than one occasion, well they're about to be reported again!!!!. Do the residents of Redfield a favour and close......PERMANENTLY!!!....UPDATE...FRIDAY 06 JUNE 25, what an absolutely horrible racist girl serving, clearly doesn't like white people. Head office really need to get rid of her before the public take matters into their own hands!!!. No room for racism in...

Passed by in de early hours of Saturday morning at 5 minutes to closing with a hungry belly. Asked bossman (omar) if they did veggie burgers or a fish thing? As I don't eat meat and was told "no, we sell chicken" tbf de fact its a chicken shop with de words "fried chicken" in its name kind of sahjested that fact to me before entering, but if yuh don't ask yuh don't get... Soooo I ended up ordering a frys and beans. Whilst de frys were frying a group of local roadmen rolled in n bossman was quick off de mark to tell em "if your not buying chicken u need to leave!" n with that peace was restored instantly. Frys n beans made it to de counter and I desided I needed a bottle of coke to wash it down with, bossman informed me they do not sell coke, I could see coke in de fridge, me n bossman argued over de bottle of coke, bossman got it out of de fridge and true to his word it wasn't a bottle of coke😂😂 So I settled on a Pepsi, not quite a coke but a desent compromise. Frys n beans were nice n a desent amount of each, Pepsi was cold enough n bossman was runnin at banter level 💯. All in all it was a good early mornin chicken shop experience and I will probably pass thru again in future early hours...
