Mirchi Indian Takeaway — Restaurant in Bristol

Bunch of people who run this place came across rude and cannot fathom or understand basic English. Order placed in error and i requested it to be cancelled which it was. 2nd order placed, and the workers cancelled order on purpose! Absolute joke service. The workers on the phone cut me off too as they gave up!

I have purchased food from here before and it is really good quality but i was extremely let down here!

Edit : 28th August. Someone called 'Mohammad' called me after i tried to give this place another chance, and he was again very rude and took my feedback personally. Very unprofessional customer experience. He then very arrogantly told me he will cancel my order (again) and told me to order from somewhere else... even though the 'owner' stated below that he will 'speak with the staff' and 'sort this out'.

I did not know we live in a society where customers are not allowed to leave negative reviews based on a particular experience....

This is a very bad run business! The workers are uneducated people who can't even understand simple English. I was trying to reason with them after they made a mistake but one of the workers put me on hold for about 10 minutes, and then one of the workers spoke to me in a unpleasant manner and cut me off. The owner then contacted me and also spoke to me in a displeasing manner and said I was never allowed to order from Mirchi again. Mirchi is an absolutely abhorrent place with workers who are very impolite towards custumers. I am never going to return to Mirchi and I recommend everyone who reads this review to...

Food was bland, expensive and disappointing. The chicken for the kebab was pre cooked and not fresh. It had that odd "reheated" taste that chicken sometime has when heated. No spice, no seasoning, no flavour. It looks the part, mainly from all the red food colouring they used. All I could really taste was that bottled fake lemon stuff they squirted over everything. It's nice to hear they cook what they can in a tandoor, but there is just no point if you have to pre cook it all! It's not even that obvious in tasting it that it's cooked in a tandoor.
