Parsons bakery doughnut, Wow! I don’t normally like doughnuts — they’re often too dry, too sweet, or filled with that weird fake jam. But this? This was different. The doughnut was soft and pillowy, dusted with just the right amount of powdery sugar that melted on my fingers. The dough itself was moist without being greasy, and the jam… oh, the jam. Proper jam. Tart, fruity, and generous enough to make every bite feel like a treat. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to love it — but I did. No fuss, no gimmicks, just a really well-made doughnut that actually lives up to the hype.

Used to serve Hot pasties as you’d expect but now justifying cold pasties because of Covid no saving money. No one wants a cold pasty. Being Cornish this is an absolute travesty . You should be deeply ashamed to culturally appropriate incorrectly and profit from it. The pasty was also absolutely disgusting which may have been hidden by them being warm

Decent quality bakery at reasonable prices. I'm especially enjoying their meal deal at lunchtime. Baguette, cake and coffee £4.50

So upsetting for customers to be treated in this way by a very rude and condescending ( at a guess) manager. On top of her bad attitude at peck breakfast time 1030 .she was unable to manage a handful of breakfast sandwich orders and there was only two fillings sausage or bacon.... There was no shortage of staff either and a large combi oven. I counted around 6 customers that could not have sausage or bacon... Funny thing was, as inadequate as she was at her job including my sloppy latte ... No more a latte than I am a brain surgeon... She still managed to recommend that I used the cafe across the street, to which I replied your not a very good advocate for the brand and I meant that on every possible level. What a complete joke.... Rude rude rude I counted 5 staff ... I have seen Greg's breakfast service run by 2 and we all know there is around 5 fillings and a queue out the door at 10 30 So I took my sloppy latte and did go to the cafe across the road!

Couldn't start a bun fight in a bakery came to mind regarding this manager.... Get out of customer facing service or anything to do with fast paced service or team leading . Parson's bakery lodge causeway ... Don't bother...

I love having a bakery so close to my house. I sometimes buy lunch for the family from here as I like supporting local business and not the huge conglomerates.

However, the filling to pastry ratio is awful in their pasties. I might just start getting Ginsters from the Tesco up the road instead.

Please improve your pasties. I end up buying sweet things and bread when I'm buying the pasties as well so it'll be worth it in...
