The Spotted Cow — Restaurant in Bristol

Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid. Outside are various signs about their new menu, which encouraged us to try the pub. However, upon entering and spotting two free tables with no reserved sign, we were abruptly told they had enough bookings for today, and wouldn't be selling any more food. I advised the staff member that perhaps they should put a reserved sign on the table that we were going to sit at, if this was the case. No apologetic tone from the staff at all, just a shrugging of the shoulders. The sign says 'booking advised' but not essential, and the fact that they have spare tables but did not want to accommodate us...

Many great experiences in this pub as it's a family favourite. It's got friendly staff a good atmosphere and very welcoming patrons. They have big screens for sports a lovely garden and often put on entertainment. There's always spaces for near by parking and disabled access. They have fruit machines, a juke box, darts and a pool table just like a pub should. The drinks are a reasonable price and always taste as they should unlike many places in the area. It's family friendly. What else could you possibly want in a pub, please...

Amazing pub, great quality beers and always a warm welcome from Rich and Angie, and all the staff there!!! You can have a real laugh with everyone . Nice garden area in the summer with an avery that houses extremely tweety birds! A couple of covered smoking areas outside. Can be hired out for functions. The only downside is no parking area that I have ever found, however there are many side streets nearby. Great food and an amazing Sunday dinner!...
