The Van Dyke Forum Fishponds Bristol is are regular Tuesday night steak night visit from myself and friends Light and airy value for money for drinks & food enjoyed my few ales & gammon egg and chips last night. Great choice of real ales that you don't find anywhere else near by. Dedicated staff special that personal touch from the duty manager he always makes you feel welcome alway a rapid response and ready to help if needed. You can notice the professionalism from him First Contact with the bar staff always starts with a smiling face..

Went to the Van Dyck during work. Warm environment and nice staff. Food was quick to come out considering it was a bit busy. Enough tables to sit customers. Only down side during my visit was the tables and short staff. Barely had enough staff to clean off after customers before the next set of customers come to sit down. So you have new customers sitting down with tables filled with dirty plates and cups. Couldn't get a good picture but the bar was what I loved the most... very catchy

Your usual Wetherspoon experience. Nothing really fancy, reasonable prices, average quality meals. I have to admit, the company's policy on Covid-19 is well placed. I had a burger, this time it wasn't burnt, but it was pretty dry just like my friends veggie burger. I do not recommend it, although it is much better than the one on Church road.

I always come here twice week with my partner I am disabled and in a wheelchair and came here tonight for a meal and drink and when we arrived we find out the lift was broken and my partner had to get help from aother customer in the pub to help him to lifted me into the Entrance of the pub door way I went to speak to one of the staff when is the lift getting mended because it been long time out of use and she came back with a answer she did not know. I feel that is very wrong of them because there are lots of people in wheelchairs and people with walking frames that come here every week at Wetherspoons too. Also when we ordered our food and came out to our table my whole meal was stone cold and me and my partner had to send it back. They bought a second one out and that was not much better. I will not be having...

16 of us gathered for a family get together. We arrived at different times .I arrived at around 8 o'clock with my family, including my 12 year old grandson. We ordered drinks at the bar and joined the group. After a while we ordered food. The food came at around 8.45. All good or so we thought. A very officious staff member then told us my grandson would have to leave by 9.00 pm. In the course of the next 15 minutes 3 other staff members came over with the same message. Wetherspoons, a few tips for you: SIGNAGE.... there were no signs to inform us of this rule. ORDERING AT THE BAR: Staff should inform customers before ordering of this rule. The evening was spoilt and my grandson upset. We wouldn't have ordered food with 15 minutes to consume. SECURITY: Over the top. One person would have sufficed. We...

Usually a good natured value for money place This morning however I was only half way through my breakfast when I stood up to get a refill coffee from by where I was sitting the waiter piled a load of rubbish on top of my food to clear the plate.I was right by it and as soon as I said he just rushed off saying your cutlery were together. It was not. My knife was on table and fork on plate.I went and advised manager and declined more food as I had eaten half and did not want more It just spoiled my meal To cap it all when I came back to my table another costumer was placing used crockery on my table saying his had not been cleared.Obviously you need a guard to protect your table if you leave it...
