We arrived on time, and had our table pointed out to us. We had to get our own menus off the bar as none were given to us or left on the table for us (we both needed to use the loo when we arrived). We then sat for 25 minutes before we decided to leave. In that time a table of 4 was seated, menus brought to the table, and a drinks order taken. Another couple was also seated, given menus, and had their order taken - the point we decide to leave was when their starters were brought over and yet neither waitress had even looked at us.

This wasn't a meal, this was a dining experience. You can tell the owners put a huge amount of thought into getting things right. The menu is perfect, and justifiably priced because the quality of the ingredients and the care and attention to getting the dishes perfect was very evident. I had the burger, which was phenomenal, and my wife had the pork belly which was equally perfect. The ambience was lovely, great choice of colours and music and everything was so clean and purposeful to get the environment just right, it seems large enough to meet enough people you know but small enough to still be intimate. Fantastic intimate restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food was delicious however I don't believe the deserts quite lived up to the other courses. I was disappointed that the bottle of rosé wine we ordered arrived unchilled. It was supplied in an ice bucket however I had to ask twice to have the ice replaced as it melted quickly.
