Duckpond Cafe — Restaurant in Bromsgrove

only wanted a coffee which actually tasted very nice. Saw the offer of food and was enticed until I realised that dogs are allowed to sit in the seating area where the food is served and made.

Unfortunately, it was a wet day and the smell of dog was just too strong and the idea of food quickly turned to queasiness.

I Have seen similar set ups at the Clent Hills however seating areas are separate from where food is prepped. (i.e outside).

Quite a shame as would be an ideal little breakfast...

Wanted to like this place, but ordered three coffees and they somehow tasted of cigarettes (!) and so all ended up down the drain. Would not buy coffee from here again.

EDIT: In response to owners reply - we had unfortunately already walked some way from the cafe before starting our coffees, but appreciate the sentiment in offering to replace them. No idea why they tasted that way, but didn't make much difference as to the fact they ended up being a...

Found this cafe by chance when randomly looking nearby, will definitely re-visit when the weather is better as there are some nice walks nearby. The food was great, and the service was quick.
