We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Saffron in Hoddesdon. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful in guiding us through the menu.
The menu itself is impressive, offering a wide range of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. Whether you are after traditional favourites or want to try something new, there’s plenty of choice for everyone and the staff are more than happy to explain and recommend dishes to suit your taste.
The food was outstanding, full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and served in generous portions that left us more than satisfied. It’s rare to find a place that gets the balance of quality and quantity so right.
What really stood out, aside from the taste, was how affordable it all was. For the quality and portion sizes, the value for money is excellent.

We had a great night we drove up from Chelmsford to drop off something for work and I said we will get some dinner while we're there My wife son and elderly father came And all loved the food and atmosphere
Very relaxing and not in your face with Getting food orders and getting you out the way like some restaurants
Quite refreshing
It was nice to just sit and talk while waiting for our food and having a drink in a vibrant and buzzing atmosphere
Food all round was quality
And loved the different chutney sides with the poppadoms

Me and a beautiful lady decided to have an Indian night at Saffron. The hospitality was great, they are really nice people. The presentation of the food was good and the food stayed hot. The decor was nice and the place was clean which is a big plus. The downside was that the food was a tad bland especially for a indian cuisine however this might be what we ordered. I expected flavoursome food, this can be something to work on in the future to make the experience better.
