This place needs a lesson in customer service! Me and my partner took our friends out for what we thought would be a lovely relaxed meal but what we experienced was quite the opposite. The waitress came over and brought our mains however informed us that she had only put one of them through the till so we would have to wait for the other one, gave a brief apology and walked off. After 25 minutes we still hadn’t had our main, even though we’d witnessed the same meal being taken to another lucky table. At this point our friends had nearly finished their meal and we were still waiting so I asked to speak to the manager. I was informed there was no manager about but the food would be with us soon. After another 10 minutes the meal finally arrived, served by a rude waitress that informed us “you’ve got your food now though” (not the point but we carried on) we then ate our main while our friends had finished. So the whole point of taking them out for a meal was pointless because we ate at completely separate times. The waitress then tried to clear our plates away while my partner was still clearly eating and had food on his plate! The sides were also cold by the time our main came out and the whole experience was very poor. I’m not one to complain but the rudeness and attitude of the staff was enough to tip me over the edge. We were then told the manager had ‘popped out’ and they didn’t know what time he’d be back, to which then another man came out and spoke to us, he was also very rude. In the end they gave us a free bottle of wine but the whole evening was ruined because of how they handled this one error. Read moreOur table for 8 was not reserved on arrival after booking 2 weeks in advance, and we were asked to move twice whilst they cleaned a table in front of us. They were not busy at the time as it was only 5:30pm. We had brought in balloons for a birthday we were celebrating that day which were forgotten about in the back. I told the waitress who I had given them to and she told me she couldn't do anything about it because it was the bosses daughter who had made the mistake!!! They then found the balloons 10 minutes later and brought them out in a bin bag and dumped it on the table with no thought or care!!! - and had apparently lost the other bunch of balloons they could not find. The food was average at best - the starter looked and tasted like it was a frozen party selection from a supermarket. The meat was nice, but nothing you can't get from a good kebab shop. The staff then went to find the dessert we had left earlier with a couple of candles, and they brought it to the table and sang happy birthday, which was a nice touch. However, we were missing a candle which the staff used for a table who were also celebrating a birthday on the table behind us!!! It's probably better when they aren't so busy and maybe best to visit in the daytime to get a good experience. I feel for some of the staff who tried their best to be accommodating, but the uber eats tablet was going off non stop all evening - it should really have been switched off to concentrate on the diners in the restaurant if there wasn't enough staff to cope with the orders. Read moreI went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with my husband. We both didn’t like the food. It was one of the worst experiences for us. I ordered patlıcan Kebab, I mean that’s what they called it but it was nothing like that dish. Eggplants were uncooked. I couldn’t even bite them easily. The köftes had way more fat than you would expect. This is not my first time eating kebab, I am Turkish and know how it should taste. After my first bite, I saw hair on my plate (the waiter said their hair was short so it must have been mine. Which was very dismissive. I had my hair tied how would you assume this) so she didn’t do anything about it. Kept saying no one had a that long hair in the kitchen. And asked me if I wanted chips or rice (you would assume this was her trying to fix this experience) so I was like ok I will just get chips. And you know what happened. When we asked for the check to pay we saw they included the chips in the bill as well. I never saw such a thing. When you have a negative experience restaurants offer you something else instead to make the experience less unpleasant. They don’t charge you for what they offer. I will never go to this place again. I took the time out of my busy day to write here because that’s how horrible I felt at this place. I paid so much money for the food I didn’t eat, the food that had hair on it and the food it was offered. So overall was the worst restaurant in the UK. Don’t go and waste your money. If I had simple got a sandwich somewhere else it would have been much pleasant experience...
