This place will Always struggle irrespective who manages it, place is nearly always empty, times have changed in Kimberley, people are poorer than a decade ago and it's getting worse, nothing the management can do, too few customers, disposable incomes low so folks can't afford to come, just a few regulars + tourists like me. On the plus side quality beers like Castle Rock Elsie Mo, on the minus side dated/naff rock music spoilt a otherwise...

Excellent service in very difficult times what with Covid and social distancing. Spent yesterday afternoon there with my son. First proper pint in months. Made to feel very welcome, safety was very well controlled and managed by the staff, felt safe and no worries. At table service, in at the front door, out at the back. Yes it was quiet but with the floors marked out even at a busy weekend I am sure 1-2 mtrs can be maintained. Great all...

Went along to Cricketers Rest to see Muckys celebrating their 2nd Birthday. Lovely local pub with a beer garden at the back. Not a garden as such but an outdoor space with plenty of benches to sit on. Dog friendly, too.

Had some lovely burgers Homeboy BACON DOUBLE CHEESE

It was all delicious as usual and would highly recommend a visit...
