The Cabin Café — Restaurant in Broxtowe

I am absolutely Appalled by this place. The food was not great but oh my goodness the customer service was absolutely shocking. I had burnt hash browns as well as grisly sausages and the bacon was fatty. That wasn’t the biggest issue, I phoned up asking about the food and was told that it I drove there then I would receive a refund. On the call she said accused me and my partner of lying to get free food, she ended the phone on us multiple times and said ‘what do you expect me to do about this’. Upon arrival she started raising her voice and yelling at me, with her daughter (maybe 9/10 years old) stood next to her. She then bought her daughter into the conflict and I said that was unacceptable. She called me picky and said ‘she doesn’t want customers like me’ to order from her. I am disgusted. Don’t come here unless you want cheap, nasty food and if you want to be treated incredibly nastily, feel so unwelcome and talked down to the whole time..absolutely...

Im extremely disappointed with this. I ordered 2 breakfasts and a jacket potato. The potato was absolutely fine however the breakfasts were not. The hash browns were extremely oily and burnt, the bacon was fatty and the sausages were cheap and grisly. Ordered via Deliveroo. 40 mins late delivery and cold, turns out its not what I ordered so got someone else's order which I couldn't eat due to my dietary requirements. Called restaurant and was disconnected. Spent £30 on food I cannot eat, finally Deliveroo sorted it. Terrible experience, never...
