Blue Bay — Restaurant in Bury

Where do I start with this review. I came from London on a day trip to Manchester and found this gem of a restaurant in the heart of Manchester. From the minute I entered I received a very warm welcome from the staff and felt very comfortable throughout.

The food was absolutely exceptional, the variety of dishes was impressive. The presentation of the food was unique and quirky with a modern twist. The portion size was very generous for the dishes. And most importantly the flavour of the food was exceptional and very tasty which is the main thing. Even the deserts were nice, I recommend the fresh cookie dough and ice cream to cleanse your palate.

Had a meal for the first time in the restaurant and have to say WOW. I tried a couple of dishes I've never had before and was blown away by the taste and freshness of the food. It was obvious the chefs are really good but cooking with quality ingredients which made the food a big hit with me. The staff are very friendly and made me feel very welcome and the ambiance is quite chilled so really enjoyed the whole experience. I can't wait to go back again even though they are over 2hrs away from me but worth the travel times. The stand out dish for me was the King prawn spinach curry which just oozed freshness and flavour. Went here for the first time last week and just had to come back again the week after , the restaurant has a really comfortable feel about it , we were fit in even though we hadn’t made a booking and they were very busy to ,food was beautiful staff were just lovely and a massive plus for me is you are left alone to enjoy your meal we were asked once if everything was ok then just normal chat if they passed our table I can’t stand it when staff are constantly coming over asking if everything is ok it’s the most annoying thing ever if I needed anything they were there , that’s how it should be , the only is even though the restaurant as quite a few deserts on the menu we need...
