Read the reviews of this restaurant and decided to go on that basis. Very welcoming on arrival our table was ready speedy service to take drinks order - but it took ages for them to arrive. Menu offers starters and tapas mains we ordered the bread basket with oil and vinegar and the hummus - which is lovely as our starters and also placed the order for the mains at the same time. We were served the starters promptly and then within a minute out came 9 of the tapas we had ordered. We didn’t get time to enjoy our starters or chat - the whole idea of tapas is too share and chat. There was hardly enough room on the table for all the dishes - as we hadn’t finished the starters and when we commented about this we were told we should have been told that’s how it comes out.??? We had barely started our tapas when the next 3 dishes came out! It just seemed very rushed and sadly because everything came at once some of the food was cold by the time we got to it. The food in itself was ok but for us under seasoned and whilst I accept they are catering for the many put condiments on the table for people to add as they see fit. The chorizo chunks on the chicken and chorizo skewers were far too big slices would have been better and maybe some other veg. The churros as desert were the highlight. Overall the restaurant tonight was very cold, I had to wear my coat the atmosphere was ok- pleasant could chat but did feel the push to go when we asked for the bill and as soon as we had paid whilst we saying our goodbyes to friends was asked if we needed a taxi! What I would say is check your bill- also advised to do so by the staff “as sometimes things get put on the wrong bill” !!! I found I had been charged £4 for a lemonade - refill as I had had 1 lime and soda I queried this to be told by the person who had initially taken our drinks order that’s what you get a lemonade and refill, when I corrected him to tell him he had taken our order and never mentioned that and what’s more I had had only 1 drink he took the bill away and that mistake was rectified. Don’t think we will be...

As always we received a warm welcome from the Waitress who seated us in the restaurant, To drink I ordered a Pint of IPA beer and my Wife ordered a large Glass of red wine 🍷 which she really enjoyed, My pint of IPA was the best pint of IPA I had ever tasted.
To eat we ordered several dishes of Tapas we went for The Mussels, Ham and Cheese Croquettes, Mushrooms in Blue Cheese Sauce, pulled Beef Tacos, Pigs in Blanket Patas Bravas, Valencia Cod etc.
Food was fantastic as always, Service was amazing as always, generous portions, Great drinks, Restaurant was spotlessly clean as always, Restaurant was super busy as it always is when we have been there.
Honestly I don't know but Campo Blanco gets better and better each time, Bill came to £113 for me and my Wife that is several plates of Tapas and drinks and we tipped the waitress £10 as the service was amazing as always.

Read moreWe visited Campo Blanco last evening, I communicated with the owners through the week to book the table for my Birthday, As they were closed at the time I contacted them, I backed up the communication by leaving a voice mail, email and Insta. I received a responce on all, superb communication. Booked a table for myself , partner and my parents. My Parents have specific dietary needs that can be "challenging", Campo Blanco have possibly the best waiter in Nathan Lee that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. A credit to the business, he had the absolutely patience of a saint in his dealings with my father, and by the end, my parents wanted to adopt him!lol. Neither of my parents are fans of tapas, where as my partner and I love it. Having been before, the Cauliflower buffalo wings blew my mind on my last visit and had to be repeated. My missus was wondering what the fuss was about till she tried them. "MIND BLOWN!," LOVED THEM. Every dish was phenomenal, very quickly cooked, pipping hot and very very tasty. Both my mum and dad thoroughly enjoyed the food, commented on the fantastic presentation and said how tasty it was. I believe they are on their way to being converted. Constructive critisims? as a non drinker, £4 for a 330 cl can is £8 a pint, which is a killer when I would have loved a pint of Campo at £4 odd a pint. Please bare in mind the non drinkers and those driving and encourage them to not drink and drive with realistic pricing for non alcoholic drinks.( I find this an industry issue that is poor). Other...
