I've eaten here twice and I definitely will again.
I was excited to see it arrive as I love Lebanese food, with its distinct mix of Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern influences: kebabs, falafel, casseroles, hummus, olives, moussaka, and of course much more.
And Elafâs food is fantastic. Delicious, well presented, generous portions, and with lots of variety in terms of flavours and how spicy things are.
They don't serve alcohol, so BYOB. That's also a plus for me, because it makes the night a lot cheaper. They'll happily bring wine glasses and an ice bucket if you want them.
The service was lightning-fast the first time; the second, they had a couple of last-minute absences so weren't quite as speedy but still friendly, attentive, and very much on-the-ball.
Both times, they even came and sorted some things before we even got around to asking.
I'm looking forward to going...
Read moreWe had an amazing experience at Elaf! We travelled all the way from Stockport after seeing a TikTok video, and the food definitely lived up to the hype. The meats were top quality, the dips were freshly made, and everything tasted like a delicious home-cooked meal. The staff were so lovely, helpful, and attentive. Our server, Imani, was wonderful â polite, friendly, and so sweet with my daughter, which made us feel incredibly welcome. We didnât have to wait long for our food, and we even received a complimentary baba ganoush, which was such a thoughtful touch! The portions were generous, and we even had enough to take home. Overall, a fantastic experience â weâll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Elaf to anyone looking for great food and warm...
Read moreVisited for the first time yesterday and likely the last. The starter was lovely. We had shwarma houmous. We had lamb for the main meal and it was unbelievably tough and chewy. The knives provided couldn't cut through it. The chips aren't chips theyre scallops. The wait for the food was fine but we had to ask after waiting for a while if we could order dessert. Then had to go to the bar to ask for the bill. We were then given the bill and had to wait again. From finishing dessert to paying was probably about 45 mins sat around. The bring your own bottle also means that people get progressively drunk and louder as the evening goes on. Its not the worst place we've been to but we wont be returning...
