Booked a table here tonight. Placed an order and told them I was allergic to chives (onion family).ordered the smash burger plain with extra cheese it came with everything on burger sauce crispy onions informed them the order was wrong got attitude and told you said chives! Chives is an onion they changed it within 5 minuets grey meat sloppy mess packed up and left. Staff was at the bar taking about me she’s not allergic she had the salt and pepper chicken. No my kids did I fed them it £117 for that treatment. Kids never ate their food no peas In the pea pods steak dry. The picture I took was of the burger the bun was soggy from all the grease and that white thing on the plate was cheese one half of the. Burger completely slid off the bun maybe an off day but not good at all. If you have a allergy to something...

My friend , who is a regular visitor to the pub and myself had a lovely late Saturday lunch yesterday. Firstly, Abi who works behind the bar and waits on the tables is so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. She really makes you feel relaxed and creates a chilled atmosphere. The food was delicious. We decided to have 3 starters each. I personally would recommend the Small Plates. I had Black Pudding Samosas that literally melt in your mouth, they were so delicate and light. We both had Thai Cod & Prawn fish cakes which were equally delicious and the Tempura King Prawns that I had were crispy with a subtle ginger kick .My friend loved her go to Garlic Mushrooms and Salt & Pepper Chicken which I tried and will definitely try next time. Presentation was stunning Big shout out to Ryan, the chef. Will definitely...

First time visiting.. got lost.. not well signposted but we eventually arrived on time And it was wonderful. The young lady who was our server was lovely.. polite friendly with a lovely smile She took our drinks order immediately which we like and then the food order.. she mentioned a dish which was her favourite too. I opted for 3 small plates one being my starter.. well… they are not small portions they were very generous in size and I ended up taking some home. My hubby had a starter and a main Everything was tasty, presented Lovely and wholesome. The bill was just under £60 including a Diet Coke and a j20 with lemonade top. Well worth the visit. Value for money, plenty on the plate, friendly atmosphere We will return Thank you Karen...

We went to the Hamers Arms when it was recommended to us which was just after it’s grand reopening in May and I can definitely say it was well worth the journey, this is a proper country style looking pub restaurant with a modern clean, fresh looking feel to it on the inside which combined with a great atmosphere, super friendly staff, great ale, awesome food with generous sized portions made this an enjoyable evening for us all. I do like my pub grub and this is definitely well worth a visit so hats off to all the staff and chef and don’t change a thing, you’ve nailed it. 👍🏻🍻
