On entering the building was met with a lovely warm welcome from the owner and all the staff were jovial, helpful and chatty. The inn has had an incredible refurbishment, it's very spacious inside and also there is a beer garden which at the time of visiting coped with about 30+ people. We also tried some of the food on offer and I can tell you that the chilli n chips and the steak burger were both cooked well and tasted fantastic. There was always enough bar staff to cater for the amount of people that were at the bar at anyone time. Overall it was a warm and wonderful experience, we will be visiting again.
