Such a wonderful place and I would never have known about it !! I had just finished a job and decided to take a walk and take a few pictures If I hadn’t visited The Hub A lovely cafe I would never have known I spoke to a gentleman called Ken a wonderful person that that told me all about the area and the nature trail. Part of the trail being the old railway track is used by many by near, far and wide. The people I met majority lived close by so it gave me a wonderful history of the area. Just a few people I met and talked to were Steve and John a local factory owner that is now in its 6th Generation. A couple of ladies from The Hut Cafe with a wealth of information. It’s a lovely walk that if wanted could end in Bury or Manchester if you like a good walk. I can talk forever 😁 There is a lot of history attached to the place and it’s wonderful to find such a place. It’s a place filled with many secrets Used by people of all ages and plenty of space for dog walkers, cyclists, walkers, runners, fishermen and much more. Definitely a place to come back to and explore more when I’ve got a lot more time. Highly Recommended 🙏

Something for everyone who likes the great outdoors lovely brew caravan halfway down. Near Tottington centre there's a lovely park and art on side of buildings. At greenmount end an even bigger better park My kids love feeding the ducks off the old railway bridge

We walked the route through to Bury but plenty of paths to "circle" around and enjoy wildlife. It's a small detour to get to Burrs Park which has cafe and pub etc...

This is great for a day out in the woods, you can see the Totty Snake and take in some fresh air while going for a walk in the woods
