Saw this place as I was driving back and forth last week in the area conducting interviews. Decided to pop in for a take out. The fish and chips I have to say were very nice and tasty, soft and fluffy on the inside whilst keeping the crispiness on the outside and I finished them off no problem. The fish and chips cost me £7.80 which was take out and a can of coke was quite expensive at £1.20. There were no napkins on the counter and non were offered or enclosed with my take out. They were only accepting payments in cash for some reason (I didn't ask why). Inside the shop looked nice and clean. Even the car park was clean from debris and rubbish I used the carpark outside to just park up and eat from my car. Would I use this shop again if I was in the area? Yes most probably I would although not on the same level as my local which is the battered cod in ladybarn, it was lovely jubbly.

I had lunch with my family today, 5 of us totally, we ordered 4 portions of fish and chips, 2 haddock and 2 cod, they come with chips, garden peas, curry source etc. The fishes were all fresh and fried to perfection. By the time they reached to our mouths, they were still moist, juicy and tasty. Absolutely top notch quality. One of my family members who comes from HK to visit her brother here has already patronized 4 times of this shop in 3 months time. Definitely will visit again soon.

Fish & chips with a view, thats enough for me to get a 5 star rating 😄 Staff super friendly the young girls working very lovely and welcoming. Food was delicious, I ordered fish & chips sides curry an mushy peas with some lemonade. Price was decent and can also get deals on Groupon so get checking guys for some promotions. The place is very clean an shown in picture has a lovely view. Hopefully see you all again soon.

Absolutely dreadful. Would NOT recommend. I made a complaint only to be verbally abused by one of the staff members. I admit the fish and chips were very nice but there is a HUGE problem with the Holland’s meat pie. The Pastry was that hard I nearly broke my tooth on it. I then got passed on to vas the manager. When I complained to him he proceeded to say he was going to complain to Holland’s and I told him thats not right and it’s the shops fault for the way they store the pies. I would not recommend to get the pies or even go to the shop. Absolutely unbelievable. When it was the metro the service and food was incredible. I am shocked. The price has gone up by a mile. Thank you...

Extortionately high prices, average-sized portions, sub-par taste and very limited menu.

A fish and chips will cost you £9. For the price I payed, the portion was so small compared to an average chippy. The chips were kinda dry. For a "fish bar", they only sold cod and haddock :( Their whole menu was limited to a range of traditional English dishes and we even tried testing the Jam Roly Poly and Sticky Toffee Pudding - which were also just a let-down.

The atmosphere was cold, mostly filled with OAP's from the local area and the waitress seemed to be a little patronising.

If you want to waste your money, I totally...
