Piri Piri Grillo — Restaurant in Bury

Ordered 14/01/2022: via Uber eats, firstly be prepared to spend £2.99 on top as a ‘service fee’ minus one star for that and of course the high delivery fees on top.

Down to the food itself, spending £15 or more you get a free portion of Chilli Cheese Nuggets, which the family said tasted great. The Black Panther Burger tasted really good 👍🏽. The Chicken and Cheese fries even though selected mild option was far too spicy (inedible to family member) so just think about that when ordering, hopefully just us that this happened to. The Grillo Lamb Chops were very good, although portion size small so again ok as a starter but not a main. I’d say 3 stars would be not reflective of the majority of good food so I’d say a low 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Since 14/01 Review ordered again on 27/01/2023 and food and service much better, very tasty and filling portion of chicken and noodles and the flamingo burger was also well received. The peri peri fries are very tasty and was worth a second chance to push the rating to five stars...

Ordered 3 burgers at like half 8 on a Wednesday night thinking I'd get my food quick or at least within the estimated delivery time, ordered on Uber eats and it said it would be there by 9ish, I waited and it didn't come, called up the place and they said that it was just around the corner and confirmed my address, I waited another half an hour calling twice only to get the same thing that it's right around the corner and they we're just really busy with the guy on the other end of the phone ending the call before I finished speaking to him, 10 minutes later I cancelled the order and asked for a refund, they again said my food was right around the corner but I still went ahead with cancelling it. Overall really upset on the customer service and the way everything was handled, definitely won't be ordering from this place again. OK I tried this place today reading the reviews and here is what I think. First the half chicken was nice marinade was good and chicken moist thumps up. The reason for the 3 stars was the chips omg they were so hard inedible really. This place has potential they need to add some salad to the half chicken meals and also put everything in 1 tray there is no need to give separate bag for chips, as this makes the chips cold and hard when you get home. put it all in same tray save you time and money. Would I go again the answer is yes I will the chicken was good and also I want to try some other things on the menu and what menu items people have tried...
