I’ll preface this review by saying the food was fantastic. If you have been to Rudy’s you know the pizza is exceptional. On this occasion that was no different. I had both the Caprese Salad and their Dama Bianca pizza. The salad was fresh and vibrant and the pizza was light and full of flavour. I cannot fault their food, it delivers for an affordable price and I’d recommend going solely on this basis. I can’t leave five stars for two reasons, the service and the accessibility. Upon arrival it was not particularly busy, however, we still waited over 20 minutes to be greeted at our table. This in itself would not have been a problem, but when we asked to order drinks and food at the same time our waitress (who wasn’t exactly pleasant) said we could not do this. After further pushing she said they would do it but the drinks would not come out until after the food. This was bemusing as we ordered cokes. The drinks (unsurprisingly) came out before the food despite this assertion. The other issue is that we had a stroller. There is no ramp at the front steps. I carried the stroller up the steps and when leaving I asked if there was another exit we could use or if there was a ramp. The staff shrugged and said no, they had no ramp. I find this incredibly difficult to believe as it would fly in the face of accessibility needs. Furthermore there are doors at the back to the restaurant with minimal steps, so it appears those could be used. I’m sure it is possible, but they could not be bothered. This may not have been an issue for me physically, but it would be for others. I’d recommend their staff be more mindful of that moving forward. I’d likely get the pizza if I went to the Manchester location, but I won’t be dining in this location again.

Pizza restaurant near the centre of prestwich. Interior has a rustic feel with wooden tables, sofa style benches, brick walls, and fairy lights by the windows. Pizza specials are available on the menus - these change every so often (not sure whats the frequency). I've been there twice so far. You can tell some of the staff are still new but they were all very friendly. I've tried 4 of their pizzas so far, 2 from their normal menu and 2 specials. 1. (normal) carni: a decent amount of meat as expected. Nothing fantastic, a normal nice italian pizza. 2. (normal) triple pepperoni: slightly less meat than the carni. What I liked about this one was the chilli honey sauce. It was sweet and not spicy and added a nice touch of sweetness to the pizza. 3. (special) a pumpkin based pizza: ordered this as it had a pumpkin sauce base. It was ok. A little bit bland for a pizza. 4. (special) a cream based pizza: this was quite nice. a creamy/cheesy base with some porcini mushrooms and some meat. The chef who made this pizza in the pizza oven also timed it relatively better than the other pizzas I've had - the pizza dough/edges were less burnt, more soft and not as tough. Homemade lemonade was alao quite nice. might be a little too sweet for some people, but once the ice melts a bit, it's not as sweet. Just the right amount of sourness.

22/05/25: had the Triple Pepperoni and Chingali pizzas, with a diet coke and Session IPA. The food was amazing. The pizza bases were outstanding, possibly the best pizza I've had, even on a par with Cuckoo's pizza just down the road! Had a great seat in the front bay window, watching the world go by! Very relaxed atmosphere. Service was terrible though. Not enough servers. The two we saw were rushed off their feet and we didn't get presented with menus in a timely fashion. However, the pizzas more than made up formout initial disappointment! **OPENING 30th November 2024**

Hi my name’s Vivi. We came this afternoon around 13:50 (had a reservation for 4) we were so excited to come to this branch since it’s literally 10min away from our place. Finally a Rudy’s next door!!!! We have literally been to all your branches across Manchester and were massive fans!!!! The pizza at ur new branch did not disappoint!!!! It was absolutely delicious!!! But our waitress Lucia C on the other hand was very sweet on the outside but at the same time extremely passive aggressive whatever it was that she was saying. I was taken aback right away if I’m being honest. It was also a little triggering the whole smiling and sweetness mixed with a dose of passive aggressiveness. From the start when she took our order when my husband (who has visibly an issue with his wrist he wears a wrist support thing) not that it makes a difference tbh coz at the other branches we never ever had an issue with this but just saying.. we asked her if she could plz ask the kitchen to slice our pizzas usually the waitress would say I’ll ask the kitchen right? She didn’t. She said sorry we’re to booked to do that for u today I’m a afraid something like that. And mind you we’ve gone to the other branches on Saturday afternoon or Sunday that were crazy packed and they never had any issues doing that. The point is she didn’t even ask the kitchen. She decided not to. That was her whole attitude towards us from the beginning. At the end I had an issue with her when I payed the bill she played it dumb like she didn’t understand even though I said it a few time I just walked out. I can’t deal with that kind of attitude. I’m sorry again it was very triggering for me. My husband stayed there with the kids when the manager came to out to talk to him, he felt bad the way I personally handled the situation so he just said it’s ok everything’s ok when it wasn’t. We decided together to leave this review. So even though we’re obsessed with Rudy’s pizza we both feel that maybe it’s worth it for us to travel the extra mile if it means getting better service. I completely understand that u guys opened a week ago and wish u guys all the luck in the world....

Rudy’s Pizza in Prestwich is nothing short of perfection! From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped in the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked dough and bubbling cheese. It was clear we were about to embark on a culinary journey like no other.

Our server, Aaliyah, was an absolute superstar. She greeted us with the brightest smile and an infectious enthusiasm that instantly made us feel at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable—she guided us with expert recommendations and ensured every detail of our visit was flawless.

Now, onto the pizza. Wow. Just wow. The crust was a masterpiece in itself: light, airy, and perfectly charred in all the right places. It was the kind of crust that could convert even the most devout non-carb eater. The toppings were a symphony of flavor—fresh, vibrant, and expertly balanced. Whether you’re a fan of the classics or more adventurous combinations, Rudy’s nails it every single time.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is worth a mention too—it’s buzzing yet cozy, the kind of place you could bring a date, your family, or just yourself for a slice of happiness. The staff clearly take pride in their craft, and it shows in every bite.

Aaliyah went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. From her genuine care to her spot-on timing, she made our meal feel like a five-star event. Honestly, we’ve been to a lot of pizzerias, but this one is in a league of its own.

If you’re in Prestwich and you don’t go to Rudy’s, you’re doing your taste buds a disservice. We’ll definitely be back—again, and again, and again!

Thank you, Rudy’s, and thank you, Aaliyah, for giving us a meal to remember. You’ve set the...
