Whole Bunch Wines — Restaurant in Bury

My wife and I booked a table here to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect choice. We loved our visit to WBW Prestwich. Knowledgeable staff, great cheeseboard, and delicious wines.

They have a smallish, but well chosen range of exceptional wines on display. Some of the superior wines (3 white, 3 red) are chosen for their 'wine specials', a great way to explore the pricier bottles by the glass.

We chose the four cheeses and all the bits cheeseboard. Tunworth and Driftwood worked well with my white wine choice, a South African 2023 Semillon by Gabriëlskloof, and Cropwell Bishop Stilton and an alpine style cheese were superb with the single...

We had a fantastic time at a Whole Bunch Wines, Our daughter bought us a voucher for Christmas under the name of Grape to Grain. After there refurb the name changed but the owners honoured the voucher. The ambiance is delightful, the owners are lovely and very passionate and knowledgeable about there food and wine. Which shows in there presentation of the cheese board which is a must if you go. And at £40 with a bottle of house wine what is there not to like. It was delicious you We cannot praise this experience enough....

I liked it until the guy who works there revealed himself to be a pro-colonial racist. 🤷🏾‍♀️ He was enjoying himself telling an Indian person how Britain prevented famines in India. Sad what passes for an education in this country. Won't be going back, this guy goes out of his way to insult people. I was there with my friend, he didn't need to involve himself in what we were talking about at all. But he did, and now I know the place really doesn't...
