I just wanted to leave a review to show my immense appreciation for the hard work the Albion put into Remembrance Day this year. What a great pub that went above and beyond for all who served, serving and those who wanted to show their respect. The Albion had a wonderful poppy arch inside the pub, were stocked up with pin badges, poppies, lanyards etc. I extend my thanks for allowing me to stand outside with my trike and proudly wear my medals for folks to come and donate to the appeal. On the day there was food put on for everyone and a free drink for military personnel. The pub was warm and inviting, there was people from all walks of life celebrating and enjoying the hospitality shown. Well done to all involved in pulling off a spectacular day to remember. Read moreDay staff member was lovely, and we were left to enjoy our drinks, I'm not sure the lines have been cleaned for a while as my Moreti had yeast floating in it- which should not be happening. My partner used the men's toilets and has no idea how you are open as they are appalling. Wouldn't even let our dog in them! Went back in the evening, and a random customer was behind the bar washing his fist, which was scratched up (after a fight or hitting a mirror/window and he was so rude and looked quite intoxicated. The bar maid did not look comfortable or able to deal with this.
