Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

I love this branch of Costa. Its always clean and tidy no matter how busy it is, you can see the pride that goes into this establishment. The staff are really friendly and chatty, I feel as if I know them all personally, and they always remember my order. I feel as if this coffee shop gives off an old fashioned pub vibe, the kind where all the locals get together to have a catch up, there's a real sense of community. I was really pleased to see Alex has been taken on here, he previously worked at another establishment and I had cause to comment on his superb customer service skills back then too; it's fantastic to see him in his element here as well. Point of note: there's Costa expresses everywhere, and whilst they serve their purpose, nothing beats a handmade coffee from the store. Tastes nice. Like any other Costa coffee.

If you have never been to a Costa you get a nice selection of coffee sourced ethically and that is represented in the price you pay... Is it worth the cost - I guess only you can decide personally I do enjoy it. Other similar coffee houses include cafe Nero or Starbucks. Personally I think they all have there merits.

Enjoy a nice cuppa here. They do also do tea.

I don't generally get the cakes but that's due to cost but as a treat it is gorgeous.

The baristas are knowledgeable.

If you love your coffee why not buy some of Costa coffee bean bags.

You can ask for the used coffee grain and it will be provided free... It makes amazing soil fertiliser for plants.

Regular customer to costa up and down the uk. Have visited rugeley costa many time but on this occasion on 31st oct 2013 11:30am my experience was not the usual costa standard I am used to. 1 - approx 10 mins to make 1 latte (1 customer infront of me with 3 staff) 2- waited 10 mins for my table to be cleaned ( I moved these myself and wiped clean my table, the items are still on the other where I put them half an hour into my visit) 3- 2 stone cold breakfast baps were handed to me and my children (returned them and they were re heated with sub standard apology.
