Went today to daisys kitchen the atmosphere is really good and the decor is really nice. We had the pancake breakfast stack on the specials menu and it said it Come with hash stack which I thought was hashbrowns, however when it came it didn’t come with any hashbrown. A friend came later and ordered the same as me and my friend and asked if this does come with some sort of hashbrown, the waitresses didn’t know if it did despite it being on the menu and assured me it did. I noticed my friends didn’t have any has browns and asked the server came they asked for there’s. The waitress said she wasn’t sure what comes with what and said she would ask the kitchen. She returned and said that one chef said it did and one said it didn’t so that was very confusing. She said she had asked for some to be cooked. When they came they was undercooked and barely unfrozen which was a shame. The pancakes are amazing and fluffy and the sausages are really nice. The bacon however was a good cut but it was soo fatty and barely cooked resulting in me pulling a lot of the fat off and having a pile of fat on another plate which she ideal. I would come back but not sure if I would have the pancake breakfast on...

5* for their food, breakfast/lunch
1* For not advising us of their loyalty program. Only after 4 visits did I notice the loyalty card!
1* The online menu doesn't appear to be the same as the eat in menu???
1* For long hair hanging in the food. The kitchen staff do not always have hair tied back, neither do the waitresses!
1* For not serving napkins. We often have to reach the counter for our own!
1* DK has been closed for a week. NO SIGN in the door. Only on the website FB page. Well, not everyone is online! Also, it gives the distinct impression that DK could have gone under!
1* It's not acceptable to see staff leaning on the kitchen wall on their mobiles....

Read moreI visited Daisy's on a Sunday around 11:30 for a bit of a late breakfast. I completely understand that it was nearing the end of their breakfast service, but the place was still open and taking food orders when we arrived.
Unfortunately, the welcome we received was one of the coldest I’ve experienced. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we weren’t particularly wanted there. The atmosphere gave off a clear vibe that we were more of an inconvenience than valued customers. We felt rushed, and it seemed as though the staff were more focused on tidying up and wrapping things down than making us feel comfortable.
To top it off, when we left, not a single member of staff acknowledged us — no goodbye, no thank you, nothing. Just silence as they continued doing their tasks. It definitely left a sour note on what could’ve been a nice visit.
Would I return? Possibly — but I’d be more inclined to go at a time when the staff aren’t winding down and hopefully in a better frame of mind to offer a warm,...
