Eastern Memories — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Now the new owners have taken over terrible. I don’t expect to go to a curry house and order a new dish for it to taste like spaghetti bolognaise. We were threatened, told to lock the door and never go there again. Happily we won’t!!

Excuse me we did not run! And it’s the first time you have seen us. It was date night. You threaded to lock the door and call the police. We were happy to pay for the food that was good and asked what wasn’t to be taken off and you turned nasty. The waiter was loverly no compliant there!! Also you asked the man how his meal was not a lady, if asked I would have told! No one came over since!

We had eaten there a numerous of times and this is the first service we have got like this!!

You will not get business from us again!

This is a genuine review, we have eaten there many times and had takes outs. I wouldn’t post this if it wasn’t true and I was still hungry.

I wasn’t advised about anything before hand. And wow you are coming back as a great business owner. We have eaten and had take outs many times and now used to love the place but don’t worry won’t return. Also if I receive disgusting service I am going to make a comment and have hobbies but not making a point.

While Eastern Memories might not boast a liquor license, it certainly poured out an intoxicating experience in the form of their incredible food and exceptional service. We had a spiced up Tarka Dhall and Aloo gobi (my favourite) and number of other dishes. All were an exceptional culinary wonderland, where the aromas danced in the air and vibrant spices painted a delectable picture on our plates.

Eastern Memories embarks on a delicious adventure with unique dishes that burst with regional authenticity. Each bite is a testament to the chef's mastery, where layers of flavor unfold, tantalising our taste buds with perfect balance. And the staff as well as expertly guides us through the menu and tailoring recommendations to our preferences, took genuine care in looking after us, giving an experience that is nothing short of delightful.

But the thing that really blew us away was the value! At Eastern Memories the prices are more than reasonable, making it a guaranteed return destination for me I separately even if I don't have frients to go with. And a off-licence is just two minutes walk away (but...

Sent almost 3/4 of a plate of slop back to the kitchen only to have the very helpful waiter come back to say the chef says it’s how it should taste. Upon questioning the bill the manager became overly aggressive and tried to lock the door to keep us in the restaurant after I told him I wouldn’t pay for the meal that was sent back. Such a shame it has gone down hill since the previous owners who served great quality and had great customer service. My only apology which was expressed at the time goes to the waiter who was very helpful. I repeat my previous sentiments that such an arrogant egotistical owner can drag what was a lovely restaurant to its knees with his over aggressive ways. I wish I had let him lock the door so I could have called the police because I am sure there are laws against hostage taking and holding people against their will. Under the new management maybe the doors should not open in the first place to prevent innocent and ordinary people like me and my partner experiencing such poor levels of customer service barring the waiter as...
