Good coffee, super friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Loads of local brochures and pamphlets on offer, great place to kick-off your visit in Whitstable. I couldn’t tear myself away from the eclectic collection of books on-sale. David Lynch’s Catching the big fish, Seinfeldia, The Hidden Pleasures of Life, I could have been in there for hours (though it’s not a library). Very very cool space for getting your fix.

Lovely independent coffee shop with friendly staff and great tasting coffee! Easily the best place in the area to grab your favourite drink! Option to have your coffee sat inside (although there are limited places to sit) or to go. Coffee shop is also a bookshop as the name suggests filled with some premium items. Could not recommend more if you are a coffee lover and are in the local area.

Called in for a coffee and cake and had such a great experience I wanted to share! The coffee- black and fruity and rich and exactly what I needed. To go with- a brownie gluten free and fudgy… perfect seat in window to people watch and catch the sun and shadows making patterns… Just a lovely place with beautiful decor and the book choices 👌🏻🫶🏻 The staff are gorgeous too xx

Blueprint Coffee and Books cafe was our friend's suggestion, so with a slight hesitation (as Whistable has dozens of places with atmosphere and entourage similar to Blueprint), me and my family headed to it after we arrived to Whistable Railway Statation. Firstly, I must admit that the location is nearly perfect - it is right at the beginning of the High Street and about 8 minutes walk from station. Secondly, I am the person who prefers calm and tranquil places like local libraries, but feels a bit embarressed to have any food or drinks inside, so my review may be a bit biased towards that. Nevertheless, the cafe is perfect spot for me as it is one of the (if not the only) quietest I have ever visited! I also love the limited amount of seats and the use of sounds of the instuments or really dim music instead of doggy pop songs, which stick in your head and distract from studying or working. As for food, I had a chance to try Cinnamon Stroll and Almond Croissant, which are both delicious and fresh. The fomer one had an unusual cinnamon flavour (I am comparing with Cinnamon Bun from Gwyn's Bakery in Horsham and with Cinnamon Social from Ole&Steen in London) which is great for me and the latter one had a lot of feeling inside, so my younger sister couldn't finish it and had it as an afternoon snack after. Additionaly, latte was also up to a standard of independant coffee shops lattes and the barrister (shame I didn't ask his name) was polite and friendly chap. Overall, I recomended it to those people, who like me, would enjoy the atmosphere, but it could be a disadvantage for some. (P.S. You can always go for...

I would be quite happy to try this place for a coffee but they have been closing early so too late for me. When we did find them open at about 4pm they said sorry we are closing, take away only. I probably will not go back. Update to my review, I did go back, and was served a really excellent Mocha, actually two, they were so good. Cafe is very clean and has a nice ambience. It's small but has a designer feel to it. They also sell a small interesting range of designer stationary and some books and journal's. They know how to provide really good coffee and tea. Small selection of interesting cakes. Will be happy to visit...

Awful experience at Blueprint, both on the customer side and taste side ! The main manager is just plain rude to customers. Why would anyone go here!?

coffee is one of my passions so seek out the best cafes where I travel… and have trained as a barista . this was an awful taste. My guess is it’s the only place in Whitstable with a specialist coffee machine but they have no clue how to work it. They made me a tepid 4oz macchiato and passed it off as a cortado. Whitstable you deserve...
