Appalling service! Used the click and serve service. Parked and let them know our bay. 25 minutes later and still no sign of food. Decided to go in store to find order as having 3 hungry tired kids in the back waiting for a Mc Donalds is not fun!
Spoke to one lady, who hurried off to find our food. Returned a few minutes later with a tray But no drinks! She Wasn't aware there were drinks on the order?!? As she wonders off to get drinks I decide to check food. All chips were stone cold! Clearly the food was ready for a while as she managed to find it pretty quick and it's just been sat to go cold. I ask another member of staff about changing the chips, who proply told me to wait a minute before wondering off! He then returns and walks past holding a tray of drinks, I enquire if its for order no.4 which he confirms. Then finally manage to ask for new chips. I decided to walk the food out as it was going to take several trips as no cup holder was provided for the drinks.
After finally getting the replacement chips after another few minutes. I return to the car to begin dishing out the food, only to find we have been given no sauces, none for the cheese bites, none for the chicken select and none for the happy meals as requested. I return in to store to find sauces.
As we leave and dig in, the Misses finds her burger has what can only be described as the bottom of the pack portion of cheese slice!
Utterly disappointed in the visit, appalling service, clearly prioritising one service (drive thru) over all other options! and don't start with the covid card because you clearly managed to sort your drive...
Read moreUpon visiting this restaurant today at 14:00 I went through the drive thru, ordered myself and my children’s food. The screen told us that the amount owed was just under £25. Once we got to the payment window the cashier told us it was just under £35, I questioned this but was told it was correct. When going to collect window I was asked to park up which we did. Shortly after we were approached with the wrong order and told it was because the registration was wrong??? After a short while the man came back with the correct order, I asked if there were ketchup in the bag as asked for, he said yes. We drove off and parked up so I could check the receipt and let the children have their food etc. The ketchup was missing, the drinks were wrong and I had been as I thought overcharged by £10! We drove back to the restaurant, I went in and was told to wait, which I did whilst our food got cold. Eventually what I imagine is the manager came over, looked at my receipt and insisted I had paid contactless. I told him no, it was definitely cash and to please check the cctv, He refused and dismissed my complaint. I then left as I didn’t want to get in any trouble over £10 and a terrible manager.
My thoughts are that he and the cashier are running a scam. I am going to be contacting the relevant department to ask for footage of my transaction. I really don’t care about £10 but I am not happy at the level of service and will take the time to expose...

I was accused of trying to steal food that was never given to me
I was accused of recording a manager while they where slagging me off to their team 6 feet away from me and had to show the manger in question my video gallery on my phone to prove I was not recording
Apparently the franchise owner Paul crocker’s e-mail address is not allowed to be issued to customers wishing to complain directly to him about his staffs behaviour for data protection reasons (which I feel is very poor practice and easy for staff to hide legitimate complaints from the franchise owner)
My initial e-mail was ignored for days before I called the store and specifically asked for it to be actioned and was told when I called the e-mails are monitored at least hourly round the clock so a deliberate attempt to ignore my e-mail took place
It took almost 3 weeks to get a refund for the food I ordered and never received after being pushed hard to take a replacement of the food I ordered rather than receiving a refund
This experience has left me unable to bring myself to enter the store which I previously used multiple times a week as my jobs means I’m always on the roads in the Canterbury area I now travel to the Chestfield store when I want McDonald’s but due the distance this is...
