Lovely toast, doorstop portions, and covered in melting butter. Yum! Cuppa was lovely and took me back to being at my nans house. Small breakfast was nice, nothing special, but good enough.

Food was brought to the table but needs to be ordered at counter. Drinks are made at the counter which customers have to take back to their tables. Didn’t seem like a great idea as there were people constantly back and forth between their table and the counter. It’s a pretty small place so that makes it feel chaotic and crowded.

Atmosphere wasn’t great and staff not overly welcoming. We had two dogs with us. One large and under the table as best as they could be. The tiny dog was on its blanket on a chair to keep it out of the foot traffic/hot drink routes as it gets anxious and wants to wander. It was asleep and pretty chilled. A staff member came over and said ‘boss says no dogs on chairs’ and pointed to a handwritten notice that I didn’t recall seeing coming in. Tiny dog was popped on floor and became immediately anxious. He barked and barked. I’m very noise sensitive so a peaceful brunch became chaos and I couldn’t wait to leave. I get why dogs on chairs isn’t ideal, but he was small, on his own blanket and asleep. It was set to be a pleasant experience after a very cold walk but I’m not keen to return now.
