Greggs — Restaurant in Carlisle

What are the chances of ordering three pastries and all of them being stone cold ? It was 12:45 on Sunday and no queue on entry suggesting it wasn't that busy. I did notice 3 out of the 4 display cabinets contained cakes and donuts and only one contained savoury pastries/bakes. Perhaps this display cabinet should have the temperature increased... it is the difference between a four and five star review. However, the soup from the serve yourself hot cabinet was piping hot.

Nice spot to sit and eat - I don't need to add anything about the food as this place is as expected. But it's a good size, nicely decorated, with comfy chairs and quite a few tables. Parking isn't great (a handful of spaces to one side of the building and on street parking thereafter - getting a space at lunchtime will be a struggle, a testament to the popularity of the place) but that's not enough of a problem to detract from a very...

Staff have no time for customers especially if you don't know what you want straight away because they are so busy. Also other customers in the queue get uptey because you are taking that little bit longer to choose food. The parking is a joke & again people get all upset & uptey because you have to wait to get a parking space & they still try to push you out of the way the get the space before you can get...
