Grill39 — Restaurant in Carlisle

Not a good experience. Ordered a meal deal for £17.50 which came with a free pizza as part of a celebration offer for being open a year. Chicken parmo, 10 inch pepperoni, and donner meat. I'd never had a chicken parmo before, so I thought I'd give it a go. Once the order was despatched, I started to track it after 10 mins. For 40 whole minutes, it was showing the driver in a different estate 5 mins from my house. Very frustrating knowing once it does turn up its going to be cold. I phoned the take away after 1hr and 10 mins ans explained its showing the driver in another estate for 40 minutes . I could see a car down the road so I was stodd outside waving my arms while the driver just sat there. 15 mins later I finally got a call asking where the house was. Its really not hard to find, big street sign outside and door nunber. Food was hard and barely warm when it turned up. Hard donner meat, luke warm pizza. The chicken parmo was horrendous. I thought they came with a tomato and herb sauce? Breaded chicken and cheddar cheese on top. Horrible. Wouldn't go back . Even with the extra free pizza it wasn't much of a deal for £20...

The meal deal for 2 was insanely good value, the portion sizes were not skimpy, we tried a variety of things and every dish delivered. Notable favourites were the honey chicken balls and beef burrito. Loaded chips were also good as was the chicken enchilada and the nachos. Will definitely be ordering again to try more of the menu. Service was good and food was delicious....

At grill 39 they call themselves a takeaway who deliveres execpitonal food however they deleiver nothing more than poor food you can see for yourselves the exceptional standards they have

Also asked for extra cheese obviously didn't notice that on the food hub order also rude...
