Deja Brew — Restaurant in Castle Point

Ordered a bacon sandwich and a cheese Egg burger to takeaway. Bread for the bacon sandwich was bordering on stale, crusts were hard and not eatable. Hardly any bacon in the sandwich.

Asked for a runny egg, was told they had started cooking it already, but still had to wait nearly 10 minutes for the order. Burger was really bland, needed seasoning.

Used to be decent but unfortunately gone down hill. Plenty of other cafés on the island to choose from serving much...

The Food was inedible. I ordered a breakfast without beans and was still served them anyway. The beans had been poured all over the plate so I couldn’t eat the other bits of the meal. The bubble and squeak was also just mashed potato and peas!? And the tomatoes were burned. I hardly ate anything and the staff didn’t ask if my meal was ok when they cleared the plates. Awful… would not go back again. Worse than school...

If I could do no stars I would! Ordered from here after 2 hours they called with no apology and just said they're under staffed do we still want the order so we asked for discount to be told no they have already thrown it away once so no as they need to cook again like we was in the wrong. Terrible...
