Izzi — Restaurant in Castle Point

Lovely food, extremely happy. Previous experience was poor and missing delivery items but a year and half later i gave it a try for the third time and my order was perfect. The izzy special for 3 was enough food for 4/5 people. Food was great, delivery was exactly on expected time on just eat. Have increased review from 1 star to 3 stars. Would be 5 star if this was my frist experience. Thankfully looks like they have got this establishment running properly now! Hopefully many more izzi takeaways to come in the future.

30th Aug

2 days later ordered again after a dissapointing first order. Once again they forgot food items in my order. Ordered calamari which comes with salad and chips. Only recieved salad and 4 rings of calamri for £14.99. Ordered humous and it was all wet and sloppy 😷

This place is extremely overpriced. They seem to rush and mess up alot orders. Two orders in 5 days which needed calling back to ask for rest of my food.

Avoid this resteraunt. Ordered food twice and both times they forgot bits with no apology or discount.

26th August Ordered mixed grill, got a chicken shish delievered. I ordered of just eat and its way over priced. Lady on phone very understanding and quick to get me a lamb cooked to be delievered. Problem is foods already gone cold so a poor...

I took my mother here today for a lunch time treat and could not be more disappointed having had a lovely meal here previously. The waitress was miserable and everything seemed to be an effort. My partner and I had mixed grill ( we waited for what seemed like an age) which was over cooked and served with a tasteless soggy salad. My mother ordered moussaka which, when it eventually arrived, resembled something left on the pavement by a Friday night drunk! We did complain and ordered a replacement meal for mum but by the time it arrived we had finished our meal (what parts of it we could eat) so she had to eat alone. We opted for a coffee which again was sub standard and resembled dirty dishwater. The owner did remove some items from the bill by way of compensation but it was a truly bad experience and a waste of money. We will certainly not be eating...

I have used Izzy's restaurant for years and the food has always been really dam good, last nights take out food though was so disappointing at 1st we ordered on the website everything looked good and the order was sent off about 45 minutes to an hour goes by and no food has arrived so we contact them and the website they have is nothing to do with them anymore but its still online this needs to be taken down immediately as this took money for the food that we never got and the restaurant never got the order so round 2 during the call to them we place our order any way the food arrives and the chips arrived in take away tin making them go all soggy and the chicken wings was more salty then the river Thames was very disappointing and also the lamb was...
