It is many years since I last visited this little gem. My wife and I travelled from mid Lincs to meet my son and his family who had travelled from Basingstoke.We are really pleased we did. What a great cafe. Not only was the selection and quality of the food 1st class but the whole atmosphere of the place was friendly and relaxing. Sharon really helped me out this week when I needed somewhere to work with WiFi by kindly reserving me a table upstairs in the cafe. I was greeted warmly on arrival, the coffee was great, the tuna melt delicious and the atmosphere in the cafe was lovely. Definitely a great place to eat, socialise and in my case work. I bought filled baguettes and cake when I left and they were all amazing and very well received at the end of a long journey. Me and my partner went and had a vegetarian breakfast here today, and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest, from the service to the way our food was cooked, there are no complaints or criticism from either of us (this is very rare for me, I am a professional chef and judge everything unfortunately 🤣🤣) nothing was over or underdone, and all served with a smile.
