Read moreBeen to this pub loads of times in the past since before moving into out new house , see it change hands at least 4 times in this time and I can only say that the food is getting terrible. Since lock down began the portions have got smaller , items have been missed off your plate and you are either made ( not asked and price reduced) to go without or it’s replaced with something else . Last night was it for me, the last straw , ordered a XL Mixed Grill , on a plate , not a skillet , nope it came out on a skillet , in fact both my wife’s and mine did . I should of had 8oz steak & 8oz Gammon , large portion off chips , sausage n chicken x2 & 2 eggs ( snotty ) I got Steak, no Gammon no Sausage, ten chips , cold peas , but 3 bits of chicken ( processed ) few extra onion rings and what should of been a beef gravy, that came in what I would describe as a thimble!, this was not beef gravy at all , weird sweet taste 👅 nasty in fact . Usually you get pineapple half a tomato and if your lucky some mushrooms or a large mushroom 🤔 nope none of that 🤦♂️ then they have a nerve to come out and ask you if all is ok with your meal lol what a joke . The last time we went in there we had the same experience my meal was a kid’s portion to a point we went somewhere else afterwards. Sorry if you don’t agree but the Ring O Bells has gone right down in my estimation and we won’t be back there for...
Read moreDo NOT recommend this place at all. Went there after a stressful day at work for a meal with my friend. The first girl who served us was absolutely lovely couldn’t fault her. The food was ok, chicken burger I had was grey and slimy, apart from that everything else was yum. One member of staff in particular was extremely rude to us. We had only just had our meals, and she put a reservation notice on our table for 6:30pm. We then ordered a desert and it took 55 MINUTES for a sundae, for it to not even be what it said on the menu. 5 minutes after receiving my sundae so I was still eating, the same waitress came over and said the people for the 6:30 reservation were here and that we needed to leave even though it was only 6pm. I was still eating, she came back again with a disgusting attitude telling us to leave now. We refused as we were still eating after waiting 55 minutes for a sundae, for her then to turn around and say ‘I’m not going to ask you again, get up and go now’. Asked for manager, for whom never came should I say. To say I’m disgusted in this visit is an understatement, I will NOT be...
