We love this cafe, especially my Mum who lives in Syston, and despite mobility issues, she likes to be taken there as much as possible. The food and service are fantastic. The only two issues we have are temperature and toilet facilities. Both are fine for younger people, but for the majority of its customers - elderly people - I find it strange that their only toilet is up a flight of stairs that are too much for any one with mobility problems ...there is no alternative or lift. Also, the cafe is often on the cool side - I have no idea what could be done to warm the place up, but given how busy it is, surely they could do something....? Perhaps to be expected in a job where customers complain about every little thing. Atmosphere isnāt the worst, sometimes a bit quiet and feel almost out of place when Iām there.
