Was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff, well cared for ale, and delicious food - which was specially made (ie. not a stock item to be re-heated) - and they were accommodating about swapping certain items on the menu for others. Dropped a star as I feel the selection of cask ales could be better, otherwise an excellent traditional proper village pub where you can take your dog.
