The Queen Victoria — Restaurant in Charnwood

Regular drinking hole. Great selection of beers and massive beer garden meaning plenty of room to drink and enjoy the sunshine. Very family friendly pub. Only small wrinkle is the bar is quite small so often quite a big queue, but the staff are super fast at serving (and super friendly). Never eaten here, but there's always loads of people dining.

Carpark quite small but ample off road parking nearby.

Updated my review in August 25 having now eaten at the Queen Vic. Popped in for lunch on a Friday. Pub wasn't busy so no trouble getting a table. Menu offered plenty of choice, lots of pub classics and some lighter options as well. We were served quickly (helpful as teenage sons were starving) and food was delicious. Would happily eat here again.

You can eat in the main pub or the restaurant building out back...that building serves...

Really nice local pub. Nice and clean and tidy inside and out. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Made ourselves, daughter and son in law and 2 young grandsons very welcome. It has a lovely outside courtyard area plus a big family garden with picnic bench tables and well mown grass. and well kempt flower borders, hanging baskets and tubs. Bouncy castle for the kiddies when ok to put one up. And sturdy climbing frame, slide and swing area. Our little grandsons loved it We didn't eat there but the food looked good. Will definitely go there again. Pub car park to the side of the pub and good off street parking close by. Would definately recommend to friends and family and anybody reading...

I’m new to the area and have been in here half a dozen times with a friend since I moved to Syston. Can’t fault the place! Welcoming, friendly and lovely atmosphere. Had 3 meals there so far and can’t fault the service or quality. One was the weekly carvery roast, another was a meal from the Travelling Taverna and today was the chicken and bacon pie. Superb quality. The chicken and bacon pie was nothing short of amazing. Its the kind of place you can go into on your own and feel comfortable, plus you can take your dog in with no issues at all.
