We entered after not having Indian food for 2 weeks in from being on holiday abroad. The ambience and atmosphere was great. Staff are polite and attentive. We recieved a complimentary mango lassi at the start which was nice. We ordered popodams, vegetable korma with rice, naan and creamy vegetable saag paneer. The presentation was good and service made us feel relaxed however the food isn't Indian!! Not sure what it tasted like. It didn't feel fresh also. Felt like a standard gravy (which isn't Indian flavour) was mixed in the cooked vegetables before serving. There was mainly just onions and peppers in it and hardley any other veg. The paneer dish hardly had paneer. The taste was a bit better. Maybe this was Bagladeshi style not sure but didn't taste authentic Indian or close to I put hence 3 stars. For that reason I wouldn't go again. Otherwise everything else was great. We also received complimentary drink which was really nice of them.

Booked last year for the divas Motown music night tonight for a friend's birthday meal. Entertainment didn't start till 10.15pm which is far too late to stay for having arrived at 7.30pm and table cleared at 9.45pm (payment wasn't taken till 10.20pm so we heard 2 songs). Disappointing that we saw them setting up at 7.45pm. service was really slow tonight. It was busy but plenty of staff. Were asked 3 times if we wanted poppadoms before any actually arrived. Only given one menu when we asked for one after the poppadoms were delivered. 1 menu between 4 people took a while to get through as it's such an extensive one. Have been told this is an attentive restaurant so was disappointed when it definitely wasn't tonight. Food however was delicious. Can't fault the chef's!

My first experience of ordering at Indian Night and it will be the first of many. Ordered the food at 5pm and scheduled delivery for 18:30. I was shocked when it was delivered at 18:30 ON THE DOT. The food was piping hot, exactly as ordered, packaged really well and most of all probably the tastiest takeaway I’ve ever had. The food was top quality and full of favour. Honestly could not have had a better experience. Look forward to ordering here again and 100% recommend.

I bought a chicken rogan to takeaway today.as it was recommended to me by the waiter. I am very sorry to write such a bad review but it was so awful I had to throw it away. The chicken cubes inside smelt and it was covered in very cheap sauce of tomato and onions. i couldn't eat it because I was concerned that I might fall ill. I don't like throwing things away but I physically couldn't put the food in my mouth as it smelt. On the positive side I was greeted well but the place needs sprucing up and cleaning up. I would also get a genuine chef who knows how to cook Indian food. This restaurant probably relies on the fact that its clientele is no connoisseur of Indian food so it can get away with serving substandard food. As I am South Asian myself I can tell you that this food is not representative of Indian cuisine at all. It seems to cover everything in tikka masala and hopes that everyone will be fooled into thinking that this is genuine Indian food. It's not!! keep away. I've given it one star but that's only because i couldn't post it...

First time visiting this restaurant and probably the last. We were seated at the table where the floor was strewn with rice and screwed up napkins that remained there for the entire 2hrs we were there. After 15 minutes we finally had to ask the waitress for drinks. Poppadoms turned up which were actually quite nice as was the main meal which had more than enough to go around. For me the points that let it down were the cleanliness and above all else some of the waiters, none of them asked how we were or how our food was etc. One of the waiters was very rude and arrogant and was chewing gum at one point, very unprofessional. A very random part of the meal was when a magician just turned up at the table and began doing a few tricks and some mediocre jokes, slightly entertaining but seemed to drag on for way to long and we just wanted to order out mains and get on with eating. All in all the food was good but everything else let it down, clean the place up and improve some of the waiters attitudes and...

Original rating was for 5 stars but two years later (or there about)... what a difference. The place was clearly looking tired both inside and outside. We were seated next to a clearly very damp wall. The carpet was held down with "Gaffer Tape", service was slow, food was the same as only a very average takeaway, decor already looking tired. The previously attentive staff were nowhere to be seen. Clearly a lack of investment. I'll not be returning... what a disappointment.

(Original review) Fantastic buffet style meal on Sunday. Huge and luxurious menu. Excellent attention to detail and our requirements as customers.

Polite and knowledgeable staff who seemed to take a keen interest in the food they served.

Probably the best Indian restaurant we have ever been to. Definitively the best so far in Essex and the East London area.

I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant, we shall definitely be returning in the near...
