Usually love this place for a coffee and cake as a mum on maternity. I kept seeing signs that they do a Sunday roast so I booked a table for 2pm. We were looking forward to trying out the menu. On the menu a sharing half chicken is £34 and this doesn’t include the roast potatoes, stuffing or cauliflower cheese. Not to mention the beef and pork at £19 also with none of the trimmings included. A bit much for a small cafe and would not attract people in. We ended up going for the chicken but we were told they were sold out at 2pm. We then decided to just have a drink as we always go for a chicken roast and were disappointed it had sold out and we were not going to spend £38 for a beef roast for it to come without any of the trimmings any roast comes with. I asked for a diet coke, they were also sold out. The staff are young but very friendly and the young lady that tried to serve us was delightful. We then decided to leave as this cafe had nothing to offer us at this point. Who ever does the ordering needs to make sure they can cater for their bookings and advertising they put out. The young lazy apologised and tried to offer us a brownie which was very sweet. However we left and found another spot which was great! Definitely better places to go for service, as for the taste or quality of the roast I cannot comment as they couldn’t offer me anything and I will not be attempting to...

So although this cafe has as a high number of stars to be honest I'm not sure why. Decided to try the fish finger sandwich and a BLT, both if which were possibly the worst I've had in years.

The plates arrived and I looked like the shredded lettuce"salad" had been thrown together as an afterthought. The fish fingers used were the cheapest quality, cooked till they were hard (no doubt pre-booked and then reheated) the bread had been standing out for too long and the crusts were rock hard. The BLT was no better with tough chewy cold bacon and limp tomatoes and lettuce.

Overall the experience was poor, not helped by the fact despite the cafe having folding glass doors to the decking they weren't allowed to open more than one resulting in the cafe turning into a greenhouse.

Disappointing to say the least, and not worth the...

A Hidden Gem in Bicester! This place is an absolute treasure. The atmosphere is vibrant and full of joy, and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming—friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready with a great recommendation and a warm smile.

The food? On another level entirely. If you're after a comforting, seasonal dining experience, look no further. The quality, creativity, and care poured into every dish are truly remarkable. You can feel the passion in every bite.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of ingredients. They have gorgeous drinks menu too to pair your meals.

Honestly, you'd have to search hard to find anything that comes close—even in London. Huge compliments to the team. I can't wait...

A Hidden Gem for Sunday Lunch! We recently discovered that this spot now serves Sunday lunch, and wow—what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious, with a comforting, homely touch that reminded us of a meal at grandma’s, but elevated with incredible flavor. We tried the 6-hour porchetta with all the trimmings, including the standout cauliflower rarebit. The roast potatoes were perfectly crispy and absolutely divine! Every bite was packed with flavor and care, making it one of the most satisfying Sunday lunches we’ve had in a long time. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re seriously missing out. This isn’t just a café—it’s an experience! Delicious food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend checking it out!

Delightful breakfast. Super tasty and reasonably priced. The Chai Latte was amazing! They kindly made the mushrooms on toast vegan for me. ADDITION 02/11/2024: Our group of 11 went to the first pop-up evening restaurant last night. We had a mix of teenagers, vegans, vegetarians, meat, and fish lovers, so you can imagine how difficult it could be to please everyone, yet the Garth Park Kitchen (Savoir Fare) team pulled it off. Everyone in our party complimented each of their dishes (even the teens!). The portion sizes were perfect and to top it off, the wines were excellent! (Think the original The Muddy Duck) I highly recommend attending one of the pop-ups, I know we will all return.

Long wait for food and slightly overpriced. Staff were friendly and service was ok, food once arrived was of good quality but overpriced for what you receive. Main points restricting further stars were waiting over 45 minutes for food with no recognition or apologies from staff that there was a long waiting time. Once food arrived it was of good quality but especially overpriced additional items. Ie £3 for a single hash brown and £3.50 for single black pudding. Meal options i felt lacked these additional options so forced to buy additional if hungry. Picture included of standard fry up with additional hash brown and black pudding totalling £16.50.
