Usually love this place for a coffee and cake as a mum on maternity. I kept seeing signs that they do a Sunday roast so I booked a table for 2pm. We were looking forward to trying out the menu. On the menu a sharing half chicken is £34 and this doesn’t include the roast potatoes, stuffing or cauliflower cheese. Not to mention the beef and pork at £19 also with none of the trimmings included. A bit much for a small cafe and would not attract people in. We ended up going for the chicken but we were told they were sold out at 2pm. We then decided to just have a drink as we always go for a chicken roast and were disappointed it had sold out and we were not going to spend £38 for a beef roast for it to come without any of the trimmings any roast comes with. I asked for a diet coke, they were also sold out. The staff are young but very friendly and the young lady that tried to serve us was delightful. We then decided to leave as this cafe had nothing to offer us at this point. Who ever does the ordering needs to make sure they can cater for their bookings and advertising they put out. The young lazy apologised and tried to offer us a brownie which was very sweet. However we left and found another spot which was great! Definitely better places to go for service, as for the taste or quality of the roast I cannot comment as they couldn’t offer me anything and I will not be attempting to...

The plates arrived and I looked like the shredded lettuce"salad" had been thrown together as an afterthought. The fish fingers used were the cheapest quality, cooked till they were hard (no doubt pre-booked and then reheated) the bread had been standing out for too long and the crusts were rock hard. The BLT was no better with tough chewy cold bacon and limp tomatoes and lettuce.
Overall the experience was poor, not helped by the fact despite the cafe having folding glass doors to the decking they weren't allowed to open more than one resulting in the cafe turning into a greenhouse.
Disappointing to say the least, and not worth the...

The food? On another level entirely. If you're after a comforting, seasonal dining experience, look no further. The quality, creativity, and care poured into every dish are truly remarkable. You can feel the passion in every bite.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality of ingredients. They have gorgeous drinks menu too to pair your meals.
Honestly, you'd have to search hard to find anything that comes close—even in London. Huge compliments to the team. I can't wait...
